    Beeping Noise

I actually went to an ear specialist for this and he said it's completely normal. I'm not sure what brought it on after almost two years of having tinnitus, I've never experienced this before. Like you, some days it happens and some days it doesn't. The first time I had it, it sounded like...

    Beeping Noise

Haha I definitely relate to your confusion. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad sign either.

    Beeping Noise

Yeah I guess maybe the combination of hormones and more consistent exercise might be why I had a fluctuation in my tinnitus. I rarely ever get cramps so that might be why. Does beeping happen regularly for you?

    Beeping Noise

Could exercise be affecting my tinnitus? I started working out more last week, about five miles on an elliptical every other night. Last night before I went to bed, I started hearing a weird beeping noise in my right ear. It was the weirdest thing. Usually I have a constant high pitch tone...

    Dealing with Tinnitus in College

I'm a freshman in college and this is my second semester. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten extra help or any services for their tinnitus when they are in the classroom. My parents want me to file for disability at my school but I'm scared that tinnitus and hyperacusis doesn't qualify for...

Developing Tinnitus in My Good Ear

I recently caught a fever last week and I think I may have developed tinnitus in my good ear. I have already had tinnitus in my right ear from almost two years ago. The sounds I hear in that ear are a constant high pitched ringing and it's also very sensitive to loud noises. I was very...

    My Tinnitus

Hey Billie. I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to reply to my post. Your success story has given me hope for my hyperacusis. It's that which bothers me more than the constant ringing. If that could fade away, I would be so happy. Thank you for all the links you shared. I see...

    My Tinnitus

Thank you so much for your kind words. Your reply really made my day. It feels so good to talk about this to someone who gets it. I have not had any improvements with my tinnitus or sensitivity yet. I actually wasn't aware of the fact that it could get better. I was really surprised to hear that...

    My Tinnitus

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. It really means a lot. I definitely agree with you about keeping busy. School, as much as it stresses me out sometimes, it also keeps my mind off of the ringing. I'm trying to keep a hopeful mindset that things will get better or there will be a...

    My Tinnitus

Hi my name is Katie and I am 18 years old. I've had tinnitus for a year and eight months now. It all started back in high school. One of my friends thought it would be a funny idea to come up behind me and blow in my right ear. She was sick for a while and had a really bad cough. I didn't really...
