  • How can I find the strength to go back to gym? I am very tired because of lack of sleep...
    Drone Draper
It takes time. Just go and do what you can for now.
    Strife_84
@Drone Draper I guess that is the right way. No use forcing myself. I've had sleeping problems for years so this does not improve my situation....

I got T just before Christmas. I went to the gym when I was sleeping 3 hours a night, going through the motions like a zombie. Just keep with it. Exercise may spike your T, but it's typically temporary and being tired from exercise will help you sleep.
Anyone else feeling physical feeling in ear when spiking etc.? It sometimes feels like my ear has so much tension..like a spring.

Yes, after I left the MRI it was my first symtom. I believed it was caused by a muscle inside my ear, which then lead to issues with the blood flow and finally the noises. I ask my doctor about that on Tuesday.
Tired as ever. Slept very badly. I miss silent mornings.

@SashaG what setback did you have?
    Strife_84
@SashaG yeah, I hoped too. I felt very good yesterday for a moment. I just want to make music...

I was making progress, the sounds became quiter I still had a sound, 2 actually, but it seemed to get more quiet, I actually had moments of silence in the morning for a few minutes or afternoon some seconds. On friday I went to my doctor and he said, now is the time to wait and see. I did not take any new meds on friday, did live a more normal life and boom. It came back so loudly that I was crying for hours.
What is the one thing Tinnitus sufferer would take with to deserted island with? Tinnitus. Because they have no choice. Ba dum tshhh!

Right now, I would take my Tibetan Singing bowl. It feels like the only thing giving me relief on bad days
I felt normal for 30 minutes. Watched TV, I forgot about T, even tried to listen to it but didn't hear it. Almost had tears in my eyes.

    NICE!

I've exposed myself a lot to noises in past 2 days. Vacuuming, listening music on low volume, went to mall..
    Strife_84
But I can still hear it. When I am in silence.
Went to mall today. Had 2 terrible and painful spikes suddenly that I almost dropped my shopping bags. Buzzing like crazy. Effin hate this.

Did this happen the day before, or the day when you got a T spike at the mall? I can see one getting problems after being in a very loud class for over an hour, but it is difficult to imagine it causing any serious harm in just 2 minutes...
    S
@Bill Bauer i sure hope it didnt cause me to permanently increase and its jus a spike, perhaps no sleep, anxiety and last night using ear plugs is what has t louder? I didnt use the earplugs for class... it was jus so loud tho, but im trying to remain hopeful and calm :(

    Did the mall spike subside???
I feel more aggressive than usual. Lack of sleep, maybe the prednisolon, and the fact I cannot do what I love. And can't even get a job.
I slept more than usual but I am tired. Exhausted. Morning was silent but now my head has this "static" noise.
Friend came over and we played old Super Nintendo games. At least I forgot about my ears for a moment.
I have not slept this well since I got T. This time I got 5,5 hours sleep. That's half hour more than usual!
I have the most amazing GF. She thought about me and bought me some tea that will help me sleep better. I will get it at Saturday.
Running did not do good. Now my head has been hissing for few hours. So it definitely has to do something with the blood flow.
Exhausted but I have to go out for a walk and try to do some running. I cannot stop. I must not give up.
Washed my teeth and my tinnitus got much louder.
    Bill Bauer
It is one thing to ignore the danger when there is nothing one could do to avoid the danger. It is another thing to be able to do something easily to reduce one's chance of making one's T louder and to refuse to do it.

In any case, if what you do doesn't work out for you, please share your experiences here, so that others can learn from your mistakes.

@Bill Bauer yes of course I will use earplugs if I go to loud places. But normal life sounds should not be blocked he said. Like when I am in a mall or outside running. etc.

The problem with an electric toothbrush is not the sound - it is the Vibration.
My T has getting lower in volume. This night has been the most silent since getting it. Not sure if it's the cortisone kicking in.
    GSC
I hope it goes away for you.
    Strife_84
Well, I did not fall asleep anymore. 5 hours of sleep is not enough. Gotta stay positive.
Came back from ENT. My hearing curve looked normal (thank god) and i got few weeks dose of cortisone.
Still no good sleep but last night was the best night since I got T, few weeks ago.
    Strife_84
But this tiredness is getting me. I am exhausted.
