How Loud Is Too Loud? 14-Year-Old New to Tinnitus

I would say mine is in between mild/moderate. I only really hear it in quiet areas. When I am outside I almost never hear it. It hasn't really gotten quieter though.

How Loud Is Too Loud? 14-Year-Old New to Tinnitus

This really upsets me. I too got T at a very young age (13) all because of an ear infection with a stubborn ringing that never really went away. I have been in his shoes. I was full of anxiety just like him. I eventually accepted that it was there and it could stay with me for god knows how...

Tinnitus Spikes Don't Subside for Me. Are You the Same?

I do not use headphones/earbuds ever. I only really use the speakers. I do not have hyperacusis, but from what I have read here it looks pretty horrible. I have "reactive" tinnitus though. If that is even a proper term. I don't seem to have hearing loss T as I can hear just as good as before I...

Tonight Because of Severe Tinnitus I’m Sleeping in a Cell

The fact that tinnitus is ignored by most of the medical industry is absolutely unacceptable. We need to stop spending money on waging fucking wars and actually spend more on helping people, like us. Sure, cancer research is very great. But I think most would rather die than have to live with a...

Tinnitus Spikes Don't Subside for Me. Are You the Same?

Do any of you have this same problem I have where every time I get a tinnitus spike, it is there to stay? It almost never subsides afterward. So, I pretty much have to go through the entire habituation process all over again every time I get one. Which actually really sucks. It seems that I am...

Tinnitus Keeps Getting Worse, No Sign of Getting Better

Since the beginning of April of this year, my tinnitus has kept on getting worse and worse for absolutely no reason at all. I went to a doctor, I was given lupin 500 and claritin in case I had an ear infection. Though, it barely helped. And it only got worse onward. Right now my tinnitus reacts...

Ate a Lot of Sugary Stuff, Tinnitus Spikes, Do You Think It Will Settle?

Eh, even if you have T or not. You still gotta watch what you eat. Or else you will get unhealthy.

Ate a Lot of Sugary Stuff, Tinnitus Spikes, Do You Think It Will Settle?

Well, it wasn't really a party. It was more of a family get together sorta thing. There weren't any loud noises, just talking.

Ate a Lot of Sugary Stuff, Tinnitus Spikes, Do You Think It Will Settle?

I ate a load of sugary stuff at a party. And a sound inside of my left ear is a little louder (it existed for a long time but it never really bothered me until now.) Also my ear kind of hurts...ish. I can hear perfectly though. Do you think it'll settle?

My Mom Mocked Me Because My Hearing Is Bad.

My mom thinks ringing in ears is "normal" so she doesn't want to hear anything about my T. So, I just shut up and cope. The ringing doesn't really bother me anymore. I managed to fall asleep in the morning and I had 2 dreams in a row, Lol. And yes, I have seen an ENT.

My Mom Mocked Me Because My Hearing Is Bad.

You're probably gonna just call me a brat for complaining. But I guess I'll just post this anyway because I have nothing better to do. I was sitting at the dinner table just casually eating my food, being a good boy. My dad asked me a question. Due to me being hard of hearing, I said. "What?"...

    My Tinnitus Got Worse, I Feel So Isolated. ;_;

Unfortunately, my T has spiked again. Last night I could not sleep with a white noise and my right ear and my left ear both ring louder in low pitch noises. By left ear makes a strange, low pitch machine-like noise that sounds like morse code...And also seems to be loud when a pillow is on it...
