My tinnitus worsened in May 2022. After it had already worsened, I was on Amoxicillin for pneumonia in June 2022, and for a nasty gum infection just last week. Amoxicillin had no effect on my tinnitus.

In some respects yes, in others no. The constant eeeee in my left ear has gone down a bit, so that’s good. Unfortunately, I have developed this Morse code like sound in my right ear. Not particularly loud and only noticeable in silence but disheartening that it’s showed up. Tinnitus is wonderful!

I get that every other week or so too. I think I even got that even before I had tinnitus. I'm sure it's quite common in most people tbh, we just put more focus on it as we already have the condition.

Recovery is never a straight line. You are going to have bumps in the road. As time progresses the bumps will be fewer. When my T started I had some pain in my ear that came and went. Eventually it went away after a few weeks or so.
