Has There Been a Day You Haven't Noticed Tinnitus?

Before my spike a couple of months ago, I was getting close. I had days where I only noticed it 2-3 times a day, and with a mostly neutral reaction. Now I notice it a lot more, but my reaction is different from day to day, hour to hour. I think, naturally, the easier it is to mask and/or...

I believe Daedelus mentioned this, and I thought it pretty interesting, so I looked it up. http://www.tinnitusresearch.org/en/documents/downloads/Textbook_of_Tinnitus_Foreword.pdf Is this a cause for cautious optimism? De Nora is probably in a better position than many of us to know the...

Got full, stuffy blocked ears, what could it be?

Mick, I had episodes of fullness on and off for several months after I first got T. I've actually had them several times too since my spike last November, at seemingly random times of the day, without any kind of noise exposure or anything I could think of that could possibly trigger it. I...

    Treatment Prospects: Vagus Nerve Stimulation

I think the only reason they're accepting patients with tonal T at the moment is because it's easier to measure the before/after effects. If the treatment actually works, it should be effective regardless of the quality of one's T. I think they'd have a real doozy trying to measure it's...

Exhaustion Brings Tinnitus Sounds to My Previously Quiet Ear

T has a weird tendency to jump ship to the other ear sometimes, even when there's no damage involved. For what it's worth, I get some pretty odd intermittent noises in my right ear sometimes. Unfortunately they've become a lot more frequent since my spike. Hope it settles down for you!

OCD or Change in Behavior Pattern After Tinnitus

    Tinnitus and Computers

My T was largely started from coil noise from a Nintendo DS. It was soft enough to sleep through, but sharp enough to very very slowly stimulate my hearing to the pain threshold.
