Yeah, I'll stop analyzing them soon also, it's comforting to know I'm not alone, I also got this from loud music, and lately from extreme stress, all the new tones from stress, I have a feeling they might go away when stress stops...

Am I going nuts analyzing tinnitus tones for no reason? I have 2 major tinnitus tones, one is about 8000 Hz and other is 1340 Hz. But I can hear maybe a dozen others, some of which come and some go. The tones show up from minutes to hours, then they disappear, sometimes don't show up again...

Sounds easier said than done, but try to ignore it. I got busy in life and just forgot I had it. Force yourself, nothing will really happen if you stay under 70 dB. Hyperacusis is totally reversible and can go away, unlike tinnitus... ;(

Not sure what you question means? But to me, seems like meds, noise or stress induced tinnitus have different signatures. Seems like the stress induced tinnitus tends to go away... well, maybe 90% of them. The noise and med induced tinnitus seem permanent.

I took the same drugs, after 15 days, a new ringing tone started, it's now been 48 hours, and I'm devastated. It does go down in volume sometimes, but not going away... Man, I read up on these drugs, and nowhere did they say they are ototoxic... I'm at a loss... Thinking of taking Prednisone.
