I did, in total I've had more than 10 different sounds. Over time they changed into one typical tinnitus sound. It does change a bit sometimes, mainly in loudness. But not anything comparable to the first 1.5 years.

Excuse me if I misunderstand, but you developed hearing loss after a concert as well as tinnitus, then had it for two years before it completely disappearef for a while? So after two years of tinnitus all of a sudden you heard silence again? That's absolutely insane, I can't imagine.

Hyperacusis takes a long time to improve, avoiding loud sounds but trying to tolerate low-normal sounds has helped me. I wear hearing protection for unpreventable loud noise but mostly just try to avoid the loudness. Wearing plugs even when sound isn't loud is not going to help. I suggest to...

Hey man make sure to get that earwax out of your ear. That could make a significant difference. I highly recommend letting it be done manually (no water or sucking it out with air) by an ENT. Hope this helps, wish you the best.
