I was on a medication called Accutane for acne when I was a teen. It made everything temporarily significantly worse before making everything permanently better (as is a common effect of the treatment).

I'm not sure what you were hoping for from Lenire, but being able to consciously process sound with your tongue will not be an outcome from this treatment.

Rewind 1 month and that's exactly what we thought in Europe.

Everything is now being cancelled here in the UK. No more sports / events / public gatherings. Many offices closed down from this week or next. One of the most surreal situations I have ever experienced.

I don't understand your point. The aim of bimodal neuromodulation is not to 'learn to hear with your tongue' but to reduce the volume of one's tinnitus.

Most countries have around 2-3 hospital beds per 1000 people. There are even less 'free' hospital beds. The world is categorically not equipped to deal with anything on this scale.

Not sure there’s any conclusive test no. I know a couple of people have reported that their TTTS has been significantly reduced with Lenire FYI.

I do not believe TTTS can be diagnosed via MRI.

I have had this in the past, and can agree with those above that it tends to go away after a few days max.

From just looking at the first 3/4 names on my list of improvers, he’s also missing out ClareB and Clearance. Many improvers (from TinnitusTalk / anecdotes / Facebook sources) we don’t even have info on their tinnitus duration. I would take this snapshot with a pinch of salt.

Do you have pulsatile tinnitus? I.e. can you hear the sounds in time with your heartbeat?

I am still expecting more to get improvements from Lenire than those who don’t. Having said that, there is a very real chance I will get nothing out of this at all so I am going in with the mindset of not expecting anything (so that I won’t be disappointed with the results). We’ll see!

Total rubbish sorry. Prevalence of tinnitus in general population is reported to be at around 5-10%. If say only 2% of the world sought treatment, that’s 140,000,000 customers. That’s not even taking into account future or repeat sufferers. Whoever cures this is going to be very very rich.

We do actually know this. It’s definitely in the leaked slides and possibly even in some of their papers. From memory I believe that they found synchronised timings to be more effective, with delays being slightly more effective initially though ultimately not leading to long term effects.

Yes the sound level is adjustable. I suspect that the “disimprovement” is to do with the treatment as a whole rather than sound levels.

Not sure about a “40% placebo effect” though. What does that even mean? Has anyone ever seen a 40% reduction in THI from a placebo arm in a tinnitus trial before? Serious question if anyone knows.

I thought they were releasing new testimonials which were to be filmed around now? In fairness I’m not sure what Neuromod releasing real world data adds to either argument? Those who trust the clinical trial data will trust the ‘real world’ data and vice versa.

Interestingly I was reading through some of Clare B’s posts and she mentioned that there was an assessment by a physiotherapist during the TENT-A2 trials to determine whether patients could modulate their tinnitus via movements of the neck / jaw etc. This means that Neuromod will already know...
