I don't think she was ever truly progressive. Take a look at her record as Attorney General: she kept people in prison beyond their sentences just so California could benefit from cheap or nearly free labor for firefighting. She also left a man on death row to suffer, despite knowing he was innocent. She's a typical politician, swayed by whichever way the wind blows.

Biden has supported cutting Social Security and Medicare for years. You can find some of his speeches on the Senate floor, available on YouTube. He is no friend to the working people of America, and I don't expect Harris to be any different. Trump, on the other hand, is not beholden to special interests.
Except for the special interests of Russia, Saudi Arabia, and China, of course.
It all started with the stimulus and spending under Trump. Now, he wants to increase costs for American consumers through higher tariffs, which will ultimately be passed on to us through higher prices. That's what Harris was referring to when she mentioned a "Trump national sales tax"—because that's essentially what it amounts to.
I was referring to the deep state that controls both political parties. The deep state does not like Trump because they cannot control him. They know that Harris, as a puppet, will follow the neocon agenda of endless wars.
