Hi @Christophe_85 not so much these days due to muscle pain and tiredness from fibromyalgia sadly!
Can you paste the website for the Pure CBD?I have been using cannabis off and on for the past few years. This year I have been taking full spectrum CBD regularly for about 6 months and my tinnitus overall is reduced significantly. I have always had super loud tinnitus, at least since 2012. My tinnitus is not gone and this is not a cure but it definitely helps take the edge off for me. I still have spikes now and then but my low days are much more and last much longer than they ever did before. I suspect it has helped me with my anxiety and sleep and this has improved my tinnitus. I can now go days where I don't even listen or hear my tinnitus. I have never been able to do that the past 7 years until this year.
I have been experimenting with diff CBD oils, tinctures and capsules for the past few years since it has been legal in my state. There is a huge variance in quality and potency as well as types of CBD. Some just do not work at all. Some have suspect ingredients. I generally find the cheaper it is, the less likely it will work. Good quality C02 extracted CBD is generally not cheap.
Before you try this out and if it legal for you to do so, do some research and educate yourself. CBD will not get you high and generally there is little to no side effects. I just get overly tired if I take too much. Best to start with low dose 10mg and work your way up from there. It may take some time before you find what dosage works for you because we are all different. I am not saying it will work for you but I do believe it is worth a try. I use CBDPure products which is made from industrial hemp and includes a certificate of analysis on purity and ingredients
I just bought a bottle of 300 MG of CBD with the hopes of getting some relief but unfortunately it only made the noise very intense.

Has anybody had their tinnitus increase permanently from VERY HIGH doses of CBD oil with some THC in it (0,2)?
My tinnitus got significantly worse during the same time period I started taking a lot of CBD for my chronic pain condition. This could be entirely coincidental of course, and yet I worry...
I haven't used any CBD for 5 days and I notice no change in my tinnitus. In fact, it has stayed at a constant level for 5 days whereas before it was silent for some days of the week. Again, could be coincidental.
I know that cannabis in general can spike tinnitus temporarily, which it also does for me. But what about permanent effects?
The only paper on the subject that often gets posted is this, and it concerns an oil with as much THC as CBD which kind of makes more a study on THC in my eyes: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4364172/
I honestly don't understand the results of this paper regarding my question about long term effects:
"To find out whether THC and CBD would have any long-lasting effects on the animals' tinnitus-like behavior, the animals were given a 2-week washout period during which the drug administration was stopped and the animals had free access to water and food. The tinnitus testing resumed after the washout period and there was only a significant group effect for 32 kHz tones (F3, 48.581 = 3.870, P = 0.015), but not BBN or 20 kHz tones. This significant group effect was due to the difference between the exposed-tinnitus-drug and sham-drug groups (P = 0.011)."
In places where it is legal, you almost always buy medicinal CBD with low levels of THC. Maybe at a 10:1 ratio. Not enough to feel anything. I don't know whether it is based on actual studies or common knowledge, but it has been explained to me that the CBD has a much greater effect when there is a slight amount of THC with it.I simply think it's bad research. You either use CBD OR THC, but not both. Their conclusion is bogus.

Hi Erik, I live in Las Vegas where it's legal as well. Is there are particular brand that you bought, or should I just go to one of those cannabis places and ask for full spectrum CBD? CBDPure is the brand he mentions in the last paragraphHi Erik, I live in Las Vegas where it's legal as well. Is there are particular brand that you bought, or should I just go to one of those cannabis places and ask for full spectrum CBD? Thanks
Perfect, thank you!
I wonder if this has ever been tested for purity by consumerlab.com.
Some products provide a GC/MS but most don't, so, this generally isn't knowable unless you have a lab or make your own. Also, what levels of THC is in the CBD oil in these cases.
Back in November when my tinnitus became insanely loud I quit marijuana. During that period I had bad days and good days with tinnitus but sleep was horrible most of the time. After several weeks I started using CBD drops for sleep and did practically nothing for me. I then moved on to very small amounts of marijuana mixed with CBD keef. No more sleep problems and my tinnitus is slightly improved, but most likely because I'm now getting used to it. My experience is that cbd/marijuna has no direct positive or negative effect on my tinnitus. It seems to me that tinnitus does what it wants despite anything I might try but if you want to sleep the CBD needs a little THC to work.Did most people who experienced a spike from CBD oil, find that it resolved itself after stopping? I've been taking drops for the past couple weeks - I'm noticing the last several days a ramp up in volume and intensity. Wondering if the CBD could be the culprit.
This has also been my experience. I can remember reading somewhere that at least some THC is needed for CBD to work. My Dad tried pure CBD oil and then a vape pen which did absolutely nothing for him. Smoking some low THC high CBD flower had much more of an effect. I'm considering trying some CBD products for my tinnitus, I just have little faith. Not even benzos will bring mine down.given that most CBD products that either of us have found to be effective have at least 0.5-2mg of THC in them, I'm sorta deeply suspicious that CBD isolate does anything at all. I have vaped and eaten significant quantities of straight CBD isolate with no noticeable effects.
CBD oil is usually ingested sublingually. You should try that, too.My neighbor across the hall has a natural medicine business. I tried drops in my ears today. It's not so good.
Nope, I'm doing 2x25mg a day and that's just fine.I picked up a 30mL bottle containing 500mg. One dose is 1mL or about 16 to 17mg. Is that too low?
Well, the site doesn't say unfortunately. Hope this works for you. If it doesn't, however, don't give up on CBD but look for one that is full-spectrum, CO2-extracted, and has lab tests available. Based on my best understanding these are the markers of a good CBD product and the one I got really does work@hans799 here's what I got. 500mg bottle https://cbdbestoil.com/product/fullspectrum-flavored-tinctures/
