What should I buy to help me sleep better? Masking and changing my sleep position have helped a little bit. I still would like a better night's sleep if possible.

I tried the Sleepytime tea. I believe I'm more rested when I wake up. However, each time I drank it, I had to go to the bathroom 2 hours before I had to wake up. Also, I have been getting dreams which is weird because I usually don't dream.

When you dream you are in the deepest stage of sleep which is good. Natural remedies such as chamomile, melatonin and valerian root may help but there seems to be little scientific evidence to support it. Magnesium before bed may also be helpful. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine sold over the counter that is used as a sleep aid and is commonly marketed under brand names such as Benadryl, sominex, unisom and nytol, but you can buy it generically. I find meditation helpful. Good luck.

Probably not enough studies on effects of long term use of herbal medications but lots of people take melatonin daily. Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) is not suitable for long term daily use. Best to speak with a doctor or pharmacist about using medications and perhaps a naturalpath about using herbals.

Sorry that the Sleepytime Tea didn't work as well for you as it did for me. I had previously been using Jack Daniels which was a lot more fun. Unfortunately, I had to stop due to the negative side-effects.....;)

A few alcoholic drinks and my tinnitus is gone. But as soon as the affect of the alcohol wears of its back. You can see how people with T can easily become addicted to alcohol. I do like a drink now and then but in moderation.

I try to get some sleep each night but of course I only get half-ass sleep because of tinnitus. Then when it's time to wake up each morning, I'm still tired and in a sour mood and that carries on for most of the morning. Instead of switching my focus to something else; I stew on my tinnitus and get down in the dumps. I know you all can relate so I'll leave it at that. I really hope we will see some help in the next 5 years!

full spectrum CBD is available in 50 states, but you need to do homework and not buy garbage or unsafe products.

if you're in a legal cannabis state, super-low-dose THC pills for sleep are a thing; I have a friend who doesn't like pot in general but takes a 2.5mg mint every night before sleep and says it works wonders.
