On airplanes, use EarPlanes! Are these earplugs good?
Do these work well in the movie theater, school and even on an airplane?

What would you recommend for loud music? I am having a prom like thing and we have to practice our dancing. We will dance with music so I will definitely use earplugs. The training starts in 3 months. I don't know how loud the music will be, last year it was probably 85 dB.For loud music I would recommend something else,

So should I use these Alpine earplugs on the practice or get some new ones?

I completely agree with maltese here. As for foam plugs, I've had better luck with the softer kind rather than the harder ones. 85 dB seems a bit low for dancing music volume, so definitely bring the foam ones.85dB is ok with Alpine Musicsafe IMHO. Listen to your ears and have foam plugs as backup. You'll be fine
@maltese so should I buy the silver ones then? There are even black ones.
Well... If you want to be this precise about it...@maltese so should I buy the silver ones then? There are even black ones.
I just bought a pair of these, they provide slightly more protection than the alpines and are very comfortable.

Also i hate the carrying box that the alpines come with, its so fiddly and akward to remove the plugs especially if you need to put them in quickly.
I finally got my Alpine earplugs, how do I remove the filters from the plastic?
Do I just need to pull them strong using force.
Do I just pull them out?
