Nope. Not at all. Who wouldn't want to associate and have a friendly chat with this cheery face and pleasant disposition????

You really made me laugh, Jcb.

That picture, I love the Grinch!

Of course, who can resist that face and sunny disposition...??
Brings on all kind of feels ha

I have seen so many ladybugs today Emma, there were about 20 of them all on and around my kitchen window, tbh it was kind of freaky to see that many and found two on my shutters as well... so strange.

I need to start taking pictures of situations like that, I just never think to

Random question but does anybody feel like their IQ has dropped A LOT since getting tinnitus  NOW I'm not saying I was Einstein by any any means haha but I feel a lot slower now in everything I do and can't seem to retain information that well any more.

@Jcb
Lady bugs are pretty cute. I did a search, just for fun.

"Ladybugs are attracted to the light colored houses. Especially, homes that have a clear southwestern sun exposure. Older homes tend to experience more problem with aggregations due to lack of adequate insulation. The ladybugs come in through small cracks around windows, door ways and under clap boards.

What attracts ladybugs in your home?

If your landscaping includes flowering plants, they will likely attract aphids, the primary food source of ladybugs. Certain species of ladybugs also feed on pollen. The pollen helps them store energy to help them through their winter hibernation."

Not sure about my IQ, although I have noticed that my attention span is shorter than it was before tinnitus. I find it hard to concentrate sometimes, too. With all of the noise in our heads I am not at all surprised that this is happening.

Why thank you Emma, that actually makes a lot of sense. We have a lot of flowers and plants all round the garden but a lot nearer the front as well. I always notice them in the garden but I've don't remember seeing that many all in one group.

Plus our house is old as well, very interesting thanks :)

Yeah my concentration is non existent at times, and definitely doesn't help with constant raves in our heads, I was just curious really.

Hi JCB,

When I first got T I found it awful - I couldn't concentrate for long period of time - I felt that although I knew the answers to the questions I was being asked I could not get my brain to connect to my mouth :) at that time I had taken around 6 months from work quitting my previous job as it was too loud an angered my T greatly.

I found that it does pass althoungh in work now I do have to play the radio and it helps massily to focus.

Hey, good to know the pumpkin pie recipe is being shared. It is very yummy, guaranteed! Love your jokes, by the way. I am always up for a good laugh, it's the best medicine by far.

I hope you are doing well Star, please know that I am thinking of you.
Thanks Emmalee, Well the jokes are from five year olds. I have been hearing the same jokes for days, so I just thought the best way to forget them was to pass them on LOL. I have all the ingredients now to bake the pumpkin pie so I will keep you and jcb posted on the outcome...;)

Thank you Star, glad they help a little. Agree 100 about the need to lean on others, share your thoughts and feelings. I know they are just words but one kind word, a bit of encouragement and hope can help a lot sometimes.

Haha I love that, I'm going to try the recipe soon, I used to love baking, cooking it really chilled me out for some reason, unfortunately not so much these days.

Those Jokes Star :LOL: terrible but they made me laugh. That's great, it'll be pumpkin pie overload, should have a competition of whose is the best pie. Some nice Halloween spirit and comfort from the pies, sounds bliss :)
Pumpkin pie competition, bring it on, just like Daniel Lion I have a competitive streak in me, but unfortunately when it comes to baking I usually just say, you win;)

What question were you asking again jcb, I seemed to have forgotten:)

Thanks for the advice Sarah :) I'm glad your focus is a lot better now.

I'm nearly 2 years in now, while my concentration is a bit better it's still a pain and you described it brilliantly about knowing the answers but your brain not connecting to your mouth.

I've never really been competitive, I'm more if I win that's great, If I lose great

You are a winner to me jcb, you made me laugh so much with your GIF that you posted in another thread :LOL: It was the best therapy for forgetting about tinnitus. I honestly still laugh about it :LOL:.
I just love your sense of humor and your honesty :D

By the way I made the Pumpkin pie this evening, it was yummy Jcb, I kid you not, everyone loved it, so make sure you give it a try :) .......

@emmalee

I baked the pumpkin pie this evening and it was delicious, I served it with real vanilla bean ice cream just like you recommended. I went to a USA food store this morning to buy the pumpkin puree it was a brand called Libby's.

It was $8 aussie dollars for a small can which is probably way more expensive than what you would pay for it, but it is obviously popular because a lady in front of me at the checkout purchased 20 cans of the stuff... Anyway it was worth every cent as everybody loved it, so I will definitely be baking another one.

So thanks emmalee, the recipe was so easy, even I did not stuff it up:LOL:

Hey Once, nice to see my favourite whip wielding trouble causing woman :)
Bahahaha.... me?? Trouble causing??? Never!!!!

I had a great summer, I must say... but now the allergies are kicking butt and that's my fault. I stopped taking my allergy shots at the end of Spring and that was a BIG mistake. I restarted them last month and Im trying to catch up and hopefully start to feel better again.

The noise is relentless, the same in that area but I am much calmer.

@emmalee Hi Emma!!! I have been knitting with a round loom and I am inlove!!! Oh, how much fun. Have you used the looms??

@Daniel Lion Thank you! Nice to know you are all ok.

No JCB, it is only you... bahahahaha :ROFL:

You are very welcome!

Awesome! Yes, Libbys is a well known brand here, I use it a lot. Wow, $8.00 a can? That is unbelievable.:wideyed: I knew you would like it, Star. It is my all time favorite!

Thank you Star, that's actually really sweet of you to say, I appreciate that so much and right back at you. I know you are struggling and still come on here and try to help people, always friendly as well and you are just a lovely person :)

I'm glad you had a giggle haha I agree laughter is one of the things that's helps so I will take those laughs anywhere I can get them. If I lose my sense of humour (which I was worried a few times that it had gone) then it's game over :LOL:

Hey trouble, I'm happy you had a good summer mate. Yeah allergies are evil, sorry your noises are still so loud but the fact you are calmer is always a good thing.

Hope you and the family are all doing ok?
