I know mate, ibuprofen can be dangerous in high amounts especially if you have T. It's so frustrating, we have to plan everything out to makes sure we don't do more damage to our ears. Just try and rest it as much as you can, get the girls to help you as well so you are putting the least amount of pressure on your elbow.
It will pass Once, you are a fighter anyway, it's probably the lack of sleep, the pain from your elbow and then your rave in your head. We are only human and can only take so much, let it pass and then look forward to a brighter day. Try and ride these little bumps we have and them come through it the other side a stronger person.
Thank you, JCB for your encouraging words.
Yes, my girls help me so much. Don't know what I'd without them. Such a blessing to my life.
Can I fast forward this pain? Don't know what hurts more, my arm or my heart? ughhhhhh
This made me smile, JCB. Thank you for reminding me.
She kinda looks like me too...
Yeah death by books, could be worse ways to go I think?? I had a huge clear out of my books that were filling the attic, nearly killed me getting rid of most of them but I donated the majority of them so hopefully somebody will get pleasure out of them as I once did.
Book hoarding I can live with, I still have a room filled with books that needs sorting but I'm not sure if I ever will ahah
This very slightly risqué picture reminds me of a particular cartoon from my collection.
Hey, Shera.@OnceUponaTime I had the same issues for multiple injuries and didn't want the drugs to make my T worse. Ask your Doctor, and check with insurance, about getting the NSAIDS put in a cream to put directly on your elbow. It works. Fast and if I dare say so a bit better than the pills. If it's too expansive get some roll on, or cream, lidocaine at 5%. You can get it without a prescription.
If I may chime in, I've used both Diclofenac and Ibuprofen topical gel quite frequently in the past for chronic neck issues. I read that - unlike pills - it tends to remain on the surface, and only a fraction of topical gels actually reach the systemic circulation. It somewhat helped, but it seems to accumulate in the blood after several applications a day, ultimately spiking my T. I do think, however, that to what degree the gels reach the blood, most likely varies per body part... Highly vascularized tissue will absorb more than less vascularized tissue.Hey, Shera.
I was just going to ask here about that, because I just got prescribed Diclofenac Sodium Topical Gel, 1% and I'm not sure how that would affect tinnitus. I have not tried it yet. How is it any different in your system than taking a pill?

'Blimey !!'
For a few weeks @Jcb was nowhere to be found,
and now he's all over it like a 'flock o' birds!'
(I'm not complaining a'course.
Where Jcb goes - his harem is never far behind!!)
I did a huge rearrangement last year in January. Got rid of 400 titles, made "false" shelves to put on my book shelves so I could double stack, and really made space! I think I've doubled what I got rid of. (Okay, Okay. Maybe tripled or quadrupled. ) *sighs* Book shopping was one of the few things I got excited for and still enjoyed. So I kind of went crazy. Now that my shame is done after the big reorganizing I'm back to Gollum talking and stroking them. My pretties.
On a totally random note I got electrocuted. After the initial pain and shock (ha-ha!) I was freaking out about what it would do to my T. Silence for 3 hours. It was a bliss. At least my T is still pretty quiet now. Small gifts.
Glorious!
Glorious!

That little penguin looks like he lost the love of his life...
The really short, fat birds are great.
Ah man... pretty cool about the monogamy thing, though!I love these, that picture of the eagle (I think it is ha) is magnificent mate. Yup the little fat ones are great haha
I hope it hasn't, the majority of breeds mate for life and he looks so sad.
edit: that first pic is how I look when I try to take a selfie .....
At least our earthquakes stopped so it might be a while before my untimely book death happens.haha that's always the way haha at least they are on shelves though. We are going to see you on the news about a lady who got killed as she couldn't find her way out of her book cave.
Nobody touches the books, nobody
Oh sh@# how did that happen, are you ok? That's interesting about your T disappearing for 3 hours, I wonder if it rewired something in your brain for a short while. I've always wondered about that, what a electric charge would do, you may be onto something haha wouldn't recommend randomly electrocuting yourself though, that could cause more damage than good.
Keep us updated on how your T is, I'm interested .
