Chit Chat and All That...

A bit stressed. I use my phone a lot also. Can't fall asleep at all because it keeps showing me weird visuals and stuff. I hope I can get used to it, or else I'll go crazy.
Stress is always a factor; meditation is advised. Make sure to take enough breaks from your phone as well.

Hopefully you can find some solace in an upcoming treatment from the VSI. It's supposed to be released in March. It's a series of animations that allegedly help some. Best part: it's free for everyone!

Can't wait. Wish they would just drop it now.

The mum is awesome! She's one of my faves next to Louise.

Maybe skip the original and go straight for the remake.

She is, I don't know why but she just makes me laugh every time. I will, I've got a few things to watch which will take me a while so that will be added to it haha

@emmalee I had to... haha. I needed to crochet, so I made this little finger puppet.:LOL:

@Star64 Did you said you crochet, too??

Sorry that this is also stressing you. Try not to use your phone too much this week and see how that goes. Maybe your eyes need to rest?

Oh well. If there not more tame, it'll be easier to save yourself from annihilation. Owls are incredible creatures, but also vicious predators hehe. I know of a few places that are open for public where one can hold owls, hawks, eagles, etc. Haven't been to one though, but I'll save it for it for the collective tinnitus talk owlting (yes, owlting).

Cool mate! Looking forward to your review ;)
Agree, music can really make or break a show. Speaking of which, sound tracks in avatar are SO powerful! I absolutely adore that main tune that is also played during the avatar trance. Sucks you right into the plot.

It's azula in the intro performing the dragon dance right? Ihro lied to everyone, suggesting that all dragons had perished, but in reality, he saved them from destruction. What a legend.

I think the guy did all the moves very slowly on purpose so as to not burn himself or his surroundings haha

Yes they are one the best predators in general tbh. That sounds like a plan, the whole of TT going to pet some birds of prey haha that'll be a sight to see..... oh he got puns now eh haha I like it man owlting indeed HA

I agree, it can really immense you into the plot, add to the drama or make things that little bit creepy. I love that tune as well, got a bit of a hypnotic feel if you get me.

It does look like she is doing the dragon dance to me anyway. I loved that episode, the whole story behind it and all the elements are so good, the movements they do are just class. I think Ihro was one the deepest if not the deepest characters, everything he had been through particularly the death of his son, changed him for the better I think. I still would of loved of see him fight the fire lord though. Oh man, the more I talk about it the more I'm worried about the Netflix remake.......

For anime I always recommend 4 for people to try. Fruits Basket (which I would say no for you), Full Metal Panic, Fullmetal Alchemist, and the one that has never failed me Samurai Champloo. I wouldn't start with Gundam.

I thik Korra took me most of season 1 to get in to. After that it was awesome.

Yeah I'm struggling haha but the last two eps went by fast so I'm hoping that's the start of me enjoying it. Thanks for recommendations (y)

Adorable, Once!
Thanx, Emma.
It is actually 5 little finger puppets in a set, but after working on this one my hand was hurting. :inpain::(

I also do bobbin lace. Right now I am making a few new patterns which keeps me a little occupied in the evenings and don't hurt my hand too much. (I'll share some pics later.)

I also enjoy book folding. :)

Just, so the guys don't think we only sit and drink around here...:ROFL:
The nerves! :cautious:

Do anyone of you have Visual Snow? Does it affect your enjoyment of animation and such? I'm starting to have symptoms, and I'm a bit nervous.

I Have floaters which only came on when I got T, they are annoying as hell at times more so in the beginning. I notice them more in bright areas and when I'm sleep deprived which is the norm of late haha I'd go with what Lab said about restricting use of mobile phones, tablets etc and give your eyes a rest. I would get a full eye exam as well just or rule out anything else.
There are a few threads about floaters as well mate, give them a read and come in here and chat to us when you are feeling anxious anytime.

Still doing pom poms :wacky: I need to even this pom pom up some more.

.
Nice tight stiches and beautiful color, Emma.

I bought the pom-pom maker. Was not too thrill with it, honestly.
My best pom-poms I make with synthetic fur. Have you tried making those?
This hat I made with the round loom.
Making this kind of pom-pom is as easy as making it with yarn, but a little more pricey.

No, no, no, we wouldn't do that Jcb, come on now. Look, lets all make up, this is getting so silly.

Here, I made you and @jimH something nice, Jim needs new socks after all and poor @OnceUponaTime has a sore hand, lets give her a rest.
