I was on 4-7mg of Valium everyday for about two months before my doctor abruptly made me stop taking them to avoid addiction. The taper was very fast in my opinion,is this dangerous?I haven't taken any for over a year now.
Yes it's too fast. But 4-7 mgs is not alot by any standard. Anyway no sense in worrying about the past ...!I was on 4-7mg of Valium everyday for about two months before my doctor abruptly made me stop taking them to avoid addiction. The taper was very fast in my opinion,is this dangerous?I haven't taken any for over a year now.

I had some pretty traumatic things happen before the onset of t and I had been to a psychiatrist who prescribed me klonopin. I was having a very hard night tonight and took one, it's been about two hours now and I would say the noise has gone down at least 50 percent.
It did make me sleepy I have not slept that good since I got t but managed to sleep last night. Doesn't seem to be anything different sounding today. How is it today? Was there any sort of rebound effect? Did it make you sleepy?

I believe it's prescribed long term for epilepsy. I have asked every doctor about this and all I have learned is how slippery they can be when you try to pin them down to a solid answer.
Well said @Pleasure_Paulie Some people are not managed by their Dr when taking Bezos and this can cause problems. I haven't so far had any problems with clonazepam, if you're going to start popping benzodiazepines like candy, you've only got yourself to blame
How does that work?currently supplementing with L-Theanine in social situations.
Take it occasionally if required. It's a great drug as you don't need to build it up in the system for it to work. I use clozeapram and Xanax. I prefer Xanax due to its less half life.
Mate, the internet is full of internet keyboard warriors. People go on the net to complain, not compliment. Trust your doctor not internet forums. Be responsible, if you're going to start popping benzodiazepines like candy, you've only got yourself to blame
I have both Xanax and Klonopin and use .5mg maybe once or twice a week The only time I had a bad side effect is when I tried 1.5mg of Klonopin "testing" the power of the medication, and fell over in the kitchen it hit me so hard ahahaYou mentioned you have used them as well, would you mind telling me how much and how often and if you've had any adverse effects?
Does that work for you? I take it, but mostly as a sleep aid!currently supplementing with L-Theanine in social situations.
Klonopin has a long half life of over 30 hours, there is no point in splitting the dose, take the .5 once a day.I take 3/4 of .5 Klonopin per day broken into 3 doses.
Question: is that the best way to take it or should I take slightly larger doses 2x per day for a better effect?
Despite it's long half-life, peak plasma concentration occurs 1-4 hours after ingestion (some pharmacokinetic documents say 1-2 hours). This is why it is not at all unusual for Clonazepam prescriptions to specify that the drug be taken 2, 3 or 4 times per day.Klonopin has a long half life of over 30 hours, there is no point in splitting the dose, take the .5 once a day.
