I didn't find this misogynistic. It's the #1 reason on a long list of reasons why I chose not to have kids. I didn't want to ruin my body, the inside or the outside.

Noise cancelling headphones over earplugs ought to bring the noise down so much that there is a good chance that you will be ok.

I would love to be a father, but the responsibilities are so so great, especially these days. I see so many parents that just let their kids scream and act anyway they like. I see kids that scream like crazy in the supermarket and I am usually not the one to carry ear plugs, but these days I carry them.

For me, I think the stress and noise from having a kid would bother my tinnitus, so I kinda hold off on the idea. I have 3 dogs that are older and sick and I am already on alert 24-7, the stress is crazy and can be scary at times. Raising kids can be quite stressful, for right now I pass on the idea of having kids

if it's your dream I say go for it... I can already tell youd be a great dad. You're tough as nails and your kids are going to be the last survivors of the apocalypse

Please have no fear. In most cases tinnitus can be habituated to and hyperacusis can be completely cured that I assure you. In severe cases hyperacusis will need treatment but it can be cured natually using sound enrichment during the day and at night using a sound machine. Please read my articles: Tinnitus, A Personal View and Hyperacusis, as I see it, in my started threads. If you wish, send me a PM with your email address and I will send you these documents in PDF format for you to print and read which is better. You are new to tinnitus and hyperacusis. They can both get better and I see no reason under these circustances you can't have children...Go for it and I wish you the best of luck. A faint heart never prospers.
