In my imagination: this poor guy is suffering from severe multi-tonal reactive tinnitus, and he's just told this hot random girl he met on the internet 2 hours ago, all about it; she feels so bad for him, she's decided he deserves some sexy-time.

I think we're definitely on the same page!

Short of a cure, we need TLC.

Loving caresses are so soothing.

Interesting bit of Art trivia coming up.

Frederic Remington was accepted to be the Dean of Western Artists. Great detail.
He was initially unimpressed by the French impressionist style.
Once, when shown a picture by Monet, he said:
"I have two maiden aunts up in Connecticut who could knit a better painting than that!"

However after just a few years his own painting genre went from detailed realism to American Impressionism.

I adore this painting.

That's a great painting.

I enjoyed Leopold museum in Vienna. There are many works by Egon Schiele there.

It's a fantastic place! I've studied there a lot.

I found this painting done in oil, in an antique shop. The shop owner offered it for 15 euros. I bought it not because of the price but because it tells a real story of life. I don't know the artist.

Right and Left is a 1909 oil on canvas painting by the American artist Winslow Homer. It depicts a pair of common goldeneye ducks at the moment they are hit by a hunter's shotgun blast as they attempt to take flight.

On YouTube there is a charming video of Steve Hanks talking about the pain of divorce, and being a full time father with his children to bring up.

A very expensive book as you can see, but I am shopping around to pick up a copy.

It's a 'must have' for me.

A very gentle soul, painting beautiful women, in water colours, with incredible technique and sensitivity.

Art simply does not get any better.

I am looking for a new/mint hardcover copy for say £300 - or there abouts.

The condition of art books is very important to me.

I once bought an art book from 'The Santa Fee Bookseller' for $300 and every page corner was bent.

Remington died after an emergency appendectomy led to peritonitis on December 26, 1909. His extreme obesity (of nearly 300 pounds) had complicated the anesthesia and the surgery, and chronic appendicitis was cited in the postmortem examination as an underlying factor in his death.

He had previously written his own epitaph.
"Frederic Remington - he knew the horse."
His anatomical knowledge of the horse was faultless.

Not so his representations of the grizzly bear.
The front legs were usually far too long.
For a good representation of the grizzly bear, look no further than the work of Charlie Russell or William Robinson Leigh.

Here's some art from Berserk, which was written and drawn by Kentaro Mirura. It has been running, with the occasional hiatus, since the 80's.

Mirura was meticulous with his art, and never stopped working to improve his craft. He was heavily influcenced by Hireonomouys Bosch.

With its dark asthetic, themes of overcoming suffering and abuse, and extreme violence, it's considerd one of the most influential pieces of modern Fantasy.

Mirura passed away this year, leaving Berserk unfinished. His death was reported by several outlets, including the BBC.

When we were in Montana living and caring for my mom, we had to travel to Great Falls Montana. That's where the C M Russel museum is located. So with time on my hands I went to have a look. This museum is dedicated to Russel, and it was absolutely amazing, not only his art, but the first nations artifacts. Simple people but their art work on clothing and leather was very talented. A great visit.

I have read much history on the American West and collected numerous monographs on individual artists over several years.

I still have some antique Navajo turquoise, but have given most of it away.

This bracelet was my favourite piece.
Turquoise from the Royston mine that ceased to be active in the mid 1950s.
