Extremely nearsighted even as a young child. I've always had floaters and honestly they don't bother me. (Except when I'm swatting at nonexistent gnats. )
I started having pvd in my early 40's and last year started developing a macular hole. It healed without surgery but there is not complete separation in that eye and it is still attached to the macula on the other eye. So I have scans done frequently. One of the things to look out for is more floaters. Really! (Lol).
