Found Out a Co-Worker Completely Recovered from Noise-Induced Tinnitus

Actually, just remembered.

One of my friends had an inner ear infection that caused T. Being a metal head like me, she got referred to an ENT, fearing hearing loss.

Instead she was diagnosed with an inner ear infection that cleared up on its own in 6 weeks.

Come on man I prefer tinnitus.....
I have a pretty strong libido (I decided to delete the statistic about the number of daily ejaculations I normally have). I'd compare the amount of enjoyment I get from that to the enjoyment of eating a pastry. I had stopped eating dessert (and anything that contains sugar) many years ago, and I don't miss it for a second.

Ok now you are comparing it to being castrated meaning no urge.

If you have the urge but no erection it's a madness comparable if not greater than tinnitus.

Having no urge due to castration and no erection are two completely different stories.

It's not an enjoyment like pastry, it's instinct like water and food.

Then again there is the instinct of passing on your DNA so.....

There's a famous YouTuber called Furious Pete who recently had his second testicle removed due to cancer.

I was thinking how one testicle removed might be better than T (you could still father children and apparently testosterone production can still be ok), but both...... eeeeeeeh.

The fight or flight instinct means fighting to the death. We have to control many of our instincts these days.

Luckily that had never happened to me during my teens and 20s, and now even if it were to happen, I think I could easily handle it as a result of hormone impact on one declining as one ages.
you could still father children
Why would you want to do that?

It had happened to me in my 20s (I'm still in my 20s btw) due to medication and man....what a drag.....

That's why I say I prefer tinnitus!

@JuneStar Random question, did your tinnitus come on right after the gunshot or did it take a while? I feel like mine took weeks after my trauma before I had any noticeable issues.
