I have to undergo a fairly low-level operation on my right ankle. I asked about the procedure; specifically about sedation. My Dr. said I will not have to be put completely under (but I won't feel anything either).
I have no idea the different types/methods of anesthesia so I'm curious if anyone knows what to avoid (regarding its effect on T) and what to look out for.
I've been through the better part of a year in physical therapy for my ankles; 30+ years of racquetball and running (and not properly maintaining) have left me with 'crankles'. MRI shows they are a mess; but livable. I finally graduated physical therapy (playing some ball and running again) only to have a bone fragment chip away and floating around in my right ankle . Dr. says it's not a big deal to remove it and I should be fine; procedure will be done 7 Jan 15 (I'm really looking forward to getting back on my feet again).
Any help is appreciated! Thanx...
