I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Yeah true, but it's still a mix of sounds so maybe it's some sort of residual inhibition effect for some, idk.

Fair, but I'm already hearing a noxious sound inside my head, this is not too different...ya know what I mean mate.
Feel ya. If nothing else this might force Neuromod to speed things along. Case is going to put them out of business before they even get started.

Also @Bam really, don't worry, I heard PJ is coming out with a special habituation program just for this soundtrack, it's called QRSTUV and it's based off the nurofiziolojikel model.

Of course Jastro had to have a finger in the pie somewhere.

Hello @Bam Are you doing this???

@R. David Case do we HAVE to use the headphones or can we just listen from a speaker? Has anyone tried it this way with success that you know??

Even if it takes longer for it to work, some may prefer this route.

Lots of us here on Tinnitus Talk do not like/prefer not to use headphones for various reasons.

Just FYI SoundCloud compresses audio to 128kbps which is horrible, if this guy is legit, it may or may not affect the quality of "treatment".

Yeah I'll give it a whirl. Why not
Great! When are you starting?? I'm following.

I'm having a bout with my left ear now, so I'm letting it rest and being careful, so I have to wait before I can try this.

You must use headphones because the coil of the headphones put off electromagnetic pulses that work with the sounds to knock out tinnitus, and it is highly recommended you use Koss KTX-PRO1 or KSC-75, they go to 24,000 hertz.

I've been listening to worse for over a year.
I know it does not make sense now but it changes in your perception, it becomes soothing and people crave it!!

Okay my dog fucking hates you already Case.

How does anyone listen to that all night for 3 weeks?!
When you take medicine it tastes horrable, when you get a shot it hurts, so goes the tinnitus cure, it sounds bad, BUT ONLY for a while, it gets way better, I and many others choose to use this every night EVEN with the tinnitus gone because it puts you to sleep and a very deep sleep!

I have developed tinnitus from noise induced hearing loss. I'm interested in this program but are nervous about using headphones.
Can anyone relate to using headphones being dangerous?

Mr. Case
Has your treatment been successful for noise induced tinnitus?

I'm concerned about more hearing damage from wearing headphones for such a length of time. Thank you.

So I have just grazed this thread; in the past I have given this account elsewhere, but I would like to state a word of caution to anyone considering that which pertains to this thread:

I did something similar to what is being discussed here; I matched the frequency of my tinnitus to a raw audio file (G6, or 1567.98 Hz), and I looped the pitch in to my ears with headphones for about 20 to 40 minutes, utilizing the same medium volume that I used to listen to music at. I can say that my tinnitus did very much subside, but along with it came Hyperacusis, hearing loss, swelling/ear-fullness, and inner ear exhaustion. My conjecture is that I simply pinpointed my area of damage and attacked it with a precision sound blade. I have since internalized that it is a ridiculous notion to attempt to alleviate hair cell damage with more sound.

I'm not really trying to debate anyone, as I see has gone on here in the recent past; I just wanted to give my anecdotal account of a similar concept. Honestly, I would never even have found this forum if I hadn't made that mistake...

Edit:

I think I should add that early on in my hyperacusis onset, I tried Pink Noise therapy, and it was helpful, but I am not sure if it just killed off the higher frequencies that were damaged, and provided some relief, or if it was galvanizing healing by aggravating damage with "micro-injuries"; I had lots of fleeting tinnitus or "ear-resets" in that time frame, and I did stabilize for years. Perhaps I was just naturally healing as well, since I wasn't far from the onset. Hard to say, but there could be some application in noise therapy depending on your specific biology, but it is so difficult to quantify that. I would still strongly warn caution.

No, I have been using this for 18 years and I feel wonderful, it works best on your condition, sound induced tinnitus. Just use on low volume at first, also I sent raw file to Markku, your director, he is setting it up for all of you!

You are making drastic assumptions and lumping in my sound mix of pulses with frequency therapy, I have used this every day for 18 years and I can tell you there is no danger, no side effects reported from more than 400 people that have used it for years, there are good side effects such as better sleep, increased cognitive ability from deeper sleep, less stress. I would never put any thing out there that was dangerous.

here's his tape. it's awful!
Yes... I am beginning to see how the business model might work: you listen to the awful soundtrack and when you are done with the file and take the headphones off, it feels like you have no tinnitus at all (simply because any tinnitus – no matter how bad – is better than listening to that stuff).

No, the state dept is trying to play down the sonic attacks because the U.S. uses these weapons and does not want the info in main stream media.
I'm sorry but that's utter nonsense, the US police and military have never even bother trying to cover up their use of sonic weapons.

In fact here's a company that that sells such devices to military and police forces around the world, including the United States..

Conspiracy theory bullshit.

You must not have read any of the testimony letters I have posted.

Well first off, it's quite obvious that it was you that wrote the comment from "Brian Douglas". Secondly, a Google search using the keywords "Brian Douglas+tinnitus" turned up nothing, which is odd considering he's allegedly the moderator of a tinnitus board. Lastly, if what you were saying was true, I'm sure we would have heard of it by now.

You are nothing other than a common charlatan, attempting to peddle your snake oil on the desperate and the weak.

Don't ever post on this forum again... Scumbag.
Yea you also said I made up Brian Douglas's testimony. And called me every name in the book, then apologized, so now you say the government would not do anything covert? I did not come on here to debate anything but how to help people with tinnitus.
