- Cause of Tinnitus
- Likely infection/ear stress after walking pneumonia
After maybe five nights of trying this, I'm taking a break, largely out of concern it may have worsened the warbling effect in my left ear, but I want to emphasize may.
The warbling/reactive sound, which takes several forms, has been the worst part of tinnitus for me though the high tone can be pretty bad too.
I never succeeded in listening for more than around fifty minutes, and not because of the hellish way Tinnitus Mix sounds at first. Like many others here it became less offensive and for me actually an interesting sound over time. My issue was not being able to fall asleep with it, so I never got the overnight/sleeping treatment that appears to be key. The reactive warbling also is so present--the overall sound when I listen to this is radically different on the left side than the right--that I may just not be a good candidate for this. Regardless, the warbling is pretty bad on that side now so I'm going to take some time off and see if it calms down (it's as bad as it's ever been, but not worse. It had been declining a bit over time).
I can't definitely say it's cause-and-effect because 1. Tinnitus and 2. My pure tone was recently a bit worse which is why I tried this in the first place, so I may have ended up at this point anyway.
