I realize all of you looking in, find this hard to believe and it is easier for your brain to discount Tinnitus Mix than have to actually ponder and think about how this could work. I am on the inside looking out, in other words I had tinnitus , knocked it out (tinnitus free 18 years now) and have seen and talked to many, many people, gotten many emails and texts saying I have saved there lives. There is no placebo effect going on here.I wonder if Mr. Case's Tinnitus Mix success is a combination of placebo and residual inhibition?
No, you should listen to it using both ears.I have tinnitus in one ear. Should I listen to the Tinnitus Mix with only my tinnitus ear?
The guy was musing on whether it helps, not saying it helps. Stop being so combative. I mean, how many treatments have you evangelized here (INCLUDING Tinnitus Mix) only to withdraw said support once you realize they don't work, hence making said knee-jerk evangelism look a little silly in retrospect? We're all in the same boat here.I've had about 10 maybe few more. It doesn't help or change chronic tinnitus. I know what this smells and tastes like dripping out of and down your throat after having it injected into my ears. You just have to argue. I get it. You obviously know everything.
GlennS. I stated that while using Tinnitus Mix my noise sensitivity in my right ear stopped so I have no idea wtf you're talking about. You're really just making stuff up.The guy was musing on whether it helps, not saying it helps. Stop being so combative. I agree, people are too harsh to others. When I'm getting my headset, I'm going to try it. If it works, it works. If not, then I got a nice headset that's perfect for some ACRN.Look... either try what Mr. Case has presented to the forum, or don't. What he has presented is no different than people saying they tried a "teaspoon of dog poo" and their tinnitus lowered.
Try it, don't try it... it is your decision. There is no charge for his advice or Tinnitus Mix, therefore in my opinion it isn't right to criticize his help.
He is not charging for his services, and no one is forced to try the Tinnitus Mix. However, to argue and berate the person is not right.
I have seen much less consternation about people pontificating about any number of helpful remedies...
It is a sound file... try it, or don't try it... but why argue about it?
You are welcome, we now have reports that there is a set of ear buds that work well for playing Tinnitus Mix, these should be way more comfortable for sleeping but cost way more than $19 like the Koss.I went ahead and bought the Koss headphones (I needed headphones anyways). I'll give this method a go. Thank you Mr. Case for reaching out to us on TinnitusTalk.
I understand, it is harsh at first, but if you follow instructions it will become soothing after a few days.I downloaded the Tinnitus Mix but it seems to be too high pitched and screeching. I don't think I would be comfortable listening to that for long periods. Maybe it would sound better with the headphones? Only tried on my computer speaker. As for me, I make my own tinnitus masking sounds by using my electric piano and record the tone similar to my tinnitus.
That's the recommended use. The brand is Koss KTX-1 or something.Maybe it would sound better with the headphones?
That's great, just don't skip a day/night or the tinnitus will try to reform.I've been listening to this via speakers at a safe volume, most days for a few weeks. Sorry, I just won't via headphones, awake or asleep. It is difficult to be sure but, in my subjective experience, I think it has helped with improving/soothing middle ear sensitivities and improving overall sound tolerance. My loudness hyperacusis was already drastically improved before using it, but have still dealt with some sound sensitivities. I still get some days where I wake up with reactive tinnitus, which I know is due to sleep somehow. But there have been lot more of days with low stable tinnitus where I have felt almost normal again.
Could be a coincidence.
I hope Tinnitus Mix helps you like the hundreds of others, you have nothing to lose like you said.I have noise induced tinnitus and going to give this a try. I shall document my experience here.
From what can be understood, initially you must listen to the waveform for a few hours, for a few days, on repeat, in the background in the daytime. This can be applied on speakers or headphones. The waveform must not be interrupted with music or radio shows.
Following this, you must listen to the waveform on Koss KTX-PRO1 headphones throughout the night during your sleep on a low volume. You must do this constantly for some weeks without interruption.
My expectations that this will work are virtually nil. And the conspiracy stuff is beyond me. The future ahead of me is blasting tinnitus. So what if this guy seems corny? I'm not afraid.
That's close to what I have experienced.I've been listening to this via speakers at a safe volume, most days for a few weeks. Sorry, I just won't via headphones, awake or asleep. I seemed to do better with my laptop speakers as well.I've been listening to this via speakers at a safe volume, most days for a few weeks. Sorry, I just won't via headphones, awake or asleep. Damn dude, that's the spy on you 24/7 Alexa garbage. You're talking about SIGINT techno-gang stalking but promoting this? C'mon. You are welcome, we now have reports that there is a set of ear buds that work well for playing Tinnitus Mix, these should be way more comfortable for sleeping but cost way more than $19 like the Koss.

Agree... Going up to 25,000 seemed to be a deal breaker a month ago.Damn dude, that's the spy on you 24/7 Alexa garbage. You're talking about SIGINT techno-gang stalking but promoting this? C'mon.
No, I think this is right. It's just like when they replaced the real Alex Jones with Bill Hicks.I wonder if the black helicopters finally infiltrated Mr. Case underground bunker and we are now communicating with an imposter?
People complain about how hard it is to sleep with the Koss headphones and ask me all the time what earbuds will work, I would never use anything that goes in the ear, but apparently these work with Tinnitus Mix so I gave out the info. I prefer the Koss but you are right, I would never use them.Damn dude, that's the spy on you 24/7 Alexa garbage. You're talking about SIGINT techno-gang stalking but promoting this? C'mon.
As I said, people complain all the time about trying to sleep with the Koss headphones on, I am just passing on info on what works, I have no bunker, I am no radical, I live in paradise and enjoy the freedom our founding fathers made for us. Freedom is not free, we must be vigilant and informed to keep it.Agree... Going up to 25,000 seemed to be a deal breaker a month ago.

Ok, I'm joking, but John's point is spot on about these "Big Tech"earbuds.
Yes, adjust volume for the loudest sections.Certain parts of the Tinnitus Mix are louder than others. Should I play the loudest sections at 30% making the lower volumes areas harder to hear or have the low parts at 30% and keeping the loud part at a higher volume?
I would presume that no alteration to the volume is required as it is meant to be played while you are sleeping.Certain parts of the Tinnitus Mix are louder than others. Should I play the loudest sections at 30% making the lower volumes areas harder to hear or have the low parts at 30% and keeping the loud part at a higher volume?
David, I am new to this forum and have been reading about your Tinnitus Mix. I have ringing in ears for 30 years. Although it was not so bad, didn't bother me. However more recently the last month it has gotten worse. I have hearing loss in higher frequency range 2 kHz and up in both ears with my right being the worst. I think the right ear is where the ringing is coming from the most.I realize all of you looking in, find this hard to believe and it is easier for your brain to discount Tinnitus Mix than have to actually ponder and think about how this could work. I am on the inside looking out, in other words I had tinnitus , knocked it out (tinnitus free 18 years now) and have seen and talked to many, many people, gotten many emails and texts saying I have saved there lives. Just got this email from a very happy person:

It was just a little humor. .
