So happy for you! Do u know how you got your T?
You are awesome for posting this! Thank you for some positivity.
What kind of earplugs did you use? Always looking for good recommendations for hearing protection.
My T began 11 days after my acoustic trauma...And of course after a quiet day at the office, my tinnitus is hella loud today. Figures. Didn't start until the evening.
I am wondering why the variations in when tinnitus starts. Most people say it begins -- or that they experience a spike -- immediately after exposure to extremely loud noises or ototoxic drugs. My T began 11 days after my acoustic trauma...
Perhaps something triggers it? I had ear fullness, and visited an audiologist. My T began in the evening of the day when I saw an audiologist. I can't think about anything she did that could have triggered it, but it is a hell of a coincidence...I am wondering why the variations in when tinnitus starts. My tinnitus volume horribly spiked the first time I saw an ENT and audiologist, but so did my anxiety. I really panicked when I actually realized how much hearing I had lost and that it likely would not improve. That spike lasted for months, in fact I think that I am still (hopefully) recovering from it.Perhaps something triggers it? I had ear fullness, and visited an audiologist. A virus. I thought it was just a bad cold. What caused yours?
Nothing. No increase in tinnitus or discomfort. Perfectly fine. I had a great time. Be safe, use prudent judgement, protect your ears, and live your life. This forum could use more positivity.
