Hello folks, I just sat down at the taplop today to have 2nd breakfast and the ringing in my ear, changed frequency (as it often does). I googled this and found you guys. My T doesn't bother me too much, but as a lover of music late at night, it has made me think again about using my headphones. This started exactly 3 years ago. I know this because my Golf was due it's annual inspection. I ordered some beer from Lacada Brewery (plug, plug) and tinkered away to the wee hours, polishing, sipping and listening to radio. Heaven! Next morning (late obviously) I woke up with this screaming in right ear.
As luck would have it, within a year, my work announced that it was moving to Poland. They tested my hearing before they booted me out but found that my hearing in my right ear, failed their test convincingly. It was a noisy factory but I always wore protection. They asked me to have this checked. ENT consultant sent me for MRI scan. This was a nightmare as I have become uncontrollably panicky since the closure.
Thankfully there is nothing sinister going on but he said my head looked full of snot .Ok, he used technical terms. I get so congested after alcohol and take all sorts of sprays/inhalers and felt that my lovely Lacada had some part to play. He was only concerned with the hearing loss, and dismissed my suggestion that beer, T, and hearing loss were connected.
Is this too much information for and intro? Sorry, I'm Irish!
