IMPRESSION:
1. Unremarkable MRI of bilateral internal auditory canals.
2. Unremarkable MRI of the brain.
So at this point I am getting pretty discouraged. It's one of those things where I was hoping to find something but understood that if they found something it could be difficult also. I am not 10 months in and my emotions the last month have been all over the board. I have been depressed and suicidal since my onset. I am in control of the suicide thing and see therapists etc.
Here are some of the things I am still doing:
I am just starting to do acupuncture, competing 3 session. So far no effects. I obtained my own acupuncture needles so I may play with it myself also
I am going back to my chiropractor Monday to talk about options. My tinnitus is heavily somatic and the onset of my tinnitus was during lots of shoulder and neck pain. My c2-5 have arthritis and mild stenosis from all the running I do. If lean my head to the left (tinnitus is on left) I can almost make the tinnitus go away completely but once my head goes back to normal position it goes up from a 2/10 > 8/10. It's a huge difference. Moving my head to the opposite side of tinnitus does nothing at all. I keep coming back to these next and jaw movements even though I know it may be grasping at straws. I am always thinking pinched nerves or something but x-rays show the bone only and have not had an mri of the neck.
If anyone has suggestions on my neck movement stuff please let me know
Thanks all for listening to me ramble on. I just needed to talk to people that know my pain. I really appreciate it.
