No disrespect intended but you joined tail end of May, have only made 8 posts and they're all on Lenire. 5 sessions is the equivalent of 2 days and one morning.
How do we know you're genuine and not an employee of Neuromod?

I wouldn't burn your masker just yet mate.OMG that gives us all hope!
It's unfortunate that you're not improving, Allan, but please don't channel your frustration into conspiracy theories. How do we know you're genuine and not an employee of Neuromod?
IIRC = If I Recall/Remember Correctly.What's IIRC mean please?
The white noise isn't pleasant for me, I blame it on the temporary spike I get. If it isn't necessary for the treatment they should remove it.My tinnitus is freaking killing me right now. I'm quickly losing faith. I have a scheduled call with Neuromod next week.
I think it's the white noise hiss. Piano tunes and chirps are ok.
In fact if this persists I'm quitting.
I can actually hear my tinnitus increasing as the session gets half way through and it almost blends in with the white noise. They are calling me next week as part of the follow up process so I'll ask about it.The white noise isn't pleasant for me, I blame it on the temporary spike I get. If it isn't necessary for the treatment they should remove it.
Yes we're collecting that data!Hopefully for the User Experience Group the admins are taking note for how long each person has had tinnitus.
Very much agree. And I am very happy Hazel confirmed that they are collecting that data, as I find it utterly important to determine the credibility of this device. It's really hard to determine if this is working or not. Hopefully for the User Experience Group the admins are taking note for how long each person has had tinnitus. Because if you had it a year, or under a year, it could be natural healing, or placebo with stress induced tinnitus? Who knows.
I think the real hardcore proof that this works will be with people who have noise induced tinnitus and are 2 year+ sufferers.
Agree. That analysis will be gold dust.I feel with the User Experience Group that with Markku, Hazel and PeterPan we are in good hands. Thanks a lot you guys.
Accusing people of being paid shills is not valid criticism.
My tinnitus sound is like white noise or almost a static sound. I wonder if that's good? The white noise isn't pleasant for me, I blame it on the temporary spike I get. If it isn't necessary for the treatment they should remove it.
I don't remember saying that it was.Accusing people of being paid shills is not valid criticism.
@kelpiemsp had tinnitus for his whole life.It could be that the device speeds up natural healing for the newer cases.
I was saying that for those that are saying it might just be natural healing and not the treatment. It could be the treatment doing its job by speeding it up for the newer cases. I didn't say anything about longer ones, and personally I hope it can help everyone.@kelpiemsp had tinnitus for his whole life.
Have you tried turning the volume and / or the tonguetip down a bit Allan? What's IIRC mean please? I know Neuromod said that and in fact they said to me personally that every other person on the trial experienced increases and fluctuations, but this is just fucking killing me again.
Yeah, but fact is we can't know, and for me the most important thing right now is finally finding out exactly how effective this device is, and we are not going to find that out by people who have the treatment in the natural healing phase which is roughly the first 6-24 months.I was saying that for those that are saying it might just be natural healing and not the treatment. I try to be optimistic about Lenire but don't forget that it's not the University of Minnesota device. Even if Hubert Lim is involved in both projects.@kelpiemsp had tinnitus for his whole life.
The only way to know for sure if it works for you is to give it a try, testimonials will never give you an answer.Yeah, but fact is we can't know, and for me the most important thing right now is finally finding out exactly how effective this device is, and we are not going to find that out by people who have the treatment in the natural healing phase which is roughly the first 6-24 months.
Of course I wish all people who are having the treatment the very best of luck and I truly hope their tinnitus lowers, but personally I can't use the reports from people with "new" tinnitus for anything.
Then be advised that memes tend to have broad interpretations.I don't remember saying that it was.

What are the differences between the two?I try to be optimistic about Lenire but don't forget that it's not the University of Minnesota device. Even if Hubert Lim is involved in both projects.
I'm not trying to be negative, but is the Lenire returnable for a refund if it doesn't help your tinnitus? I had a SoundCure and I returned it after 2 months for a full refund. I was just wondering what the policy was on the Lenire. I do hope it works for most people as we need something for relief. My tinnitus is not improving. It's possibly worse and its reactivity is through the roof when it's bad.
