That's assuming a cure is even possible. There are many chronic conditions out there that may never be cured.
i'm crossing my fingers for the results of richard tyler's 100k music therapy experiment funded by the ATA to be released... hilarious and sad... I'm sure these hacks have to be intimidated by the work going on in actual brain biochemistry currently-- this should have been done 20 years ago but knowing who was on the scientific advisory panel its not suprising that it languised--- by the way - still tinnitus free- sat in an audiologists booth with noice-canceling headphones on for 5 minutes...heard nothing-- my story has reached certain highter ups in the tinnitus community and my audiologist said the general tendency from the people he has talked to regarding my case is that I just habituated

I would also like to use my expertise to help find a cure for tinnitus, I don't know a lot of hearing companies hiring software engineers though... a transition into bioinformatics would be awesome.I am planning on becoming a doctor and this will be my field of research.
Like Valeri said, trobalt/retigabine. He was the first one here to try it.WHAT CURED THIS GUYS TINNITUS?????

Did his T continue to have stopped after he stopped taking it? Or did he have to take it to relieve his symptoms indefinitely? Will it stop hearing distortion related to hearing loss?Like Valeri said, trobalt/retigabine. He was the first one here to try it.

MIT (school in America) offers a ton of open courses for biology and the sciences - if you want to wet your whistle before committing, you could see if the topics/course material interest you. They actually even have about 7 graduate classes all centered around the ear (https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/find-by-topic/#cat=science&subcat=biology):I wouldn't mind going back to school and getting into the medical field for inner ear research.
From what I remember, he took it for some time, then stopped and the T never returned. He considered himself cured. But there is no way of knowing if it was the drug or just time itself since his T was quite new. The drug is being taken off the market anyway because of how dangerous it is. A lot of people on here had negative side effects from it.Did his T continue to have stopped after he stopped taking it? Or did he have to take it to relieve his symptoms indefinitely?
