My Posting Place

I went from loving life and music, exploring new things, planning on going to college.
To no music, barely sleeping, and obsessively checking research threads on a tinnitus forum. I had to reduce my work hours. Definitely no college.
With 24/7 head shrieking like a train brake gone psycho.
My life is no life anymore. And I see no cure imminent. I think it's time I go.
Why am I posting this? I don't know. No reason.

I am so fcking sick of this sh*t. All these club managers and bands that blast insanely loud music are literally ruining innocent, unsuspecting people's lives. I hope they a get severe, permanent, intrusive tinnitus themselves, and hearing loss that ruins music for them. Just like they did to me.
Am I angry and vindictive? Yup!!!

Very well said Manny !!!

University of Southern California-
"The researchers designed a molecule combining 7,8-dihydroxyflavone, which mimics a protein critical for development and function of the nervous system, and bisphosphonate, a type of drug that sticks to bones. The pairing of the two delivered the breakthrough solution, the researchers said, as neurons responded to the molecule, regenerating synapses in mouse ear tissue that led to repair of the hair cells and neurons, which are essential to hearing."

"There is mounting evidence that 7,8-DHF mimics the physiological activities of BDNF "

All Audiologists I talked to told me that 90db nhL ear test cannot damage my hearing further?
What do you guys think of this statement?

How could they possibly know that without knowing the exact state of your cochlear, auditory system health/integrity?

I also think my fluctuating high frequency tinnitus that changes with what I'm looking at is originating in my hippocampus.

I know!
My Audiologist told me that T patients should not undergo ear tests. It can permanently increase them and damage hair cells. I have damaged inner hair cells because of that test (it lasted 1-2 minutes or so)
We are not safe!

I know DPOAE were fine for me, audiogram was fine, and bam damaged inner hair cells as I have hidden hearing loss. I damaged a lot of hair cells in my right ear, I heard shit snapping and popping the day after cvemp.

I will tell that b*tch ENT this week (Monday) that she f***** up and because of her now I have damaged inner hair cells/synapse ribbons. Last time I Saw her Feb 22 she said that of course T will increase when exposed to loud noise, but it will always go back down.

The better thing to do for your overall spirit would be to calmly express your grievance and forgive them. But also let them know they hurt you. A fukin chiropractor led me onto the road of aspirin addiction and I have to just forgive him, however hes a member of the church I go to, even though I've take 3 months off and I'm afraid he will sue me if I accuse him of hurting me.

Dude if you dont know something or are not sure they dont touch. I dont know some shit and I dont act like I know it. If somewone has signs of NIHL then dont fu*k around and preform ear tests for some diseases that not man people have aka acoustic neuroma.

I believe in Karma, if you send out good energies you will be rewarded.

My head today

I was taking jarrow brand and I thought it was healing me. I ran out and switched to curamed brand. My tinnitus spiked bad for 3 or so days and even though I ate alot of it my hands and feet did not turn yellow and yesterday I went right back to jarrow. My tinnitus went away while I was asleep and was a tiny fraction of what it usually is. woke up with yellow hands and feet too. looks like this stuff really does quiet tinnitus. My hyperacusis seemed to be less, gone this morning as well.

"Ringing in your ears? It's all into your mind...Tinnitus was once thought to be caused by damage to the sensitive hearing nerves inside the inner ear."
Another utter garbage piece brought to you by the Daily Trash Pail. Bad enough to get things wrong, but do they really have to be downright scientifically regressive?

Dude theres like 3 drugs in development that will probably cure us coming down the line. @Deathtotinni is in the fx322 trial and he'll be able to tell us all about it when his NDA expires, if he even has to sign one. It is not the time for doom and gloom.

Thank you for taking the time to do so much research. I really like reading your posts and following your discussions. You are very optimistic and it is infectious. You definitely make TT a better place by being apart of it. I wish there was more people like you here.

Keep up the good work!
