What dosage are you taking? You have convinced me to give it a try!
Enough to turn my hands and feet yellow. 7-8 grams per day. I'm interested in your experience.

And thanks for your kind words. The reason I stay positive is because I do believe that in time a cure will be found, i have to stay positive because I'm a father and a husband. I have to push through this and live my life. I'm actually having a spike today and its driving me f**king nuts. I'm also trying my best to figure out if there is already something I can do on my own to remedy this. I have to. Why would any of us not be trying to cure ourselves even if the odds are stacked hugely against us!? I just want my f**king life back! Just thinking about how bad this shit sucks makes me want to close my office door and cry like a baby! That's actually the worst part about having days when it's very low and almost gone, that I know it's not over and is going to come right back. I know I'm not the only one. I'm so sick of this. My biggest question right now is why would curcumin inhibit notch but also repress histone acetylation. AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHH!

I'm sorry to hear about your recent spike. Hopefully it will go back to baseline soon!

Turning your hands and feet yellow?! Woah! I will definitely let you know how it goes!

I'm not "winning" if anything I'm slowly losing my mind. One thing I dont understand is why they cant hurry the eff up and get this figured out and help us.

They are so damn slow. The only thing stopping me from doing this myself is a lack of dosing info and my eardrum.

Okay, give me this shit NOW. Why cant I just have this now? I hate this country. Makes me want to wipe my butt with an American flag.

So that's (16) 500mg capsules per day?
120 capsules per bottle.
Basically one $16 bottle per week.
How many weeks? Are the effects long lasting or do you continue with a lower maintenance dosage?
I dont have a clue what om doing to be honest.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to regenerate my hearing with curcumin. I need to figure out how to increase atoh1 expression in my ears.

Because @JohnAdams and me are both Wannabe-Otologist
the establishment has took action

Ah John. You gave it a great shot. Incredible dedication to a potential cure. The turmeric industry has had a huge boost if nothing else. Hundreds of us have been taking it.

You're a scientific pioneer my friend and I cannot wait for your next big discovery.

I havent discovered anything.

"Moreover, resveratrol attenuated cochlear SIRT1 decrease and reduced oxidative stress in the cochlea after noise exposure. These results suggest a considerable therapeutic potential of resveratrol for the treatment of noise-induced hearing loss."

Seems too good to be true....

@JohnAdams

Do you already know that?

I'm so confused. How has @JohnAdams failed? He has shown to us that upon taking curcumin he has decreased his overall level of tinnitus. When he stopped taking it the tinnitus came back. Upon retaking it, it has reduced again. Did I miss something?

This seems like a great discovery that could potentially help other who are in a similar tinnitus situation to @JohnAdams.

@Bam I am glad to see you back. We have never talked, but I saw a lot of concern over how you were doing. Its good to see that you have returned. I hope you are doing well.

It has been good for me, and a few others,I cant stay on 8 grams forever though. Not sure it would help everyone. Plus my fingernails look yellow and gross. I'm pretty tired of that.

@Jack Straw Hey jack. Was kind of sensing the frustration in John here.

I understand now. What he did was definitely was informative and helpful to some. I will be taking curcumin as well and letting @JohnAdams what happens. I don't think I will take as high a dosage, but I will start small and build from there.

5 key importances were made in this video

1: There is a lot more to tinnitus then just lack of AN input and hyper exctivity in the DCN
That is still true in some cases but it's only a piece of a complex puzzle not a complete proven theory of tinnitus, sorry for over simplifying things

2: Hair cell nerve fibers associated with loud noise, "hidden hearing loss"are more prone to damage, and are hypothesized to play more of a role in the genesis of tinnitus then losing the ability to hear soft noises.

3: He talks about certain genes and neurological factors and what I would like to call a "gateway mechanism" in why not everyone with hearing loss develops tinnitus.
This is still largely an unknown and many competing hypothesis need to be examined.

4: Animal models having a gape in there startle response and deep brain stimulation is showing proof of principle to treat tinnitus in the future, they are talking about how DBS to treat parkinsons disease may make parerells to treating tinnitus

5: Mild tinnitus is more centric in the audiotory brain where as severe tinnitus is more associated in regions of the brain associated with memory.

Contrast, thanks for the Cliff Notes.(y)

I seriously cannot believe that people actually pay $3000 for "TRT". It boggles my mind.

I think here is something worth looking into.

When my tinnitus started, my fingernails started growing out with pits in them which is perhaps related to psoriasis. This would mean that at least my case is from some sort of nervous system damage.

I just realized what it is going to take to get us a cure, a cure that seems like it already exists. We are not capable of doing it either. I'm going to explain it and then you're all going to think I'm a complete nutjob and probably hate me.

If you're good with symbols then you'll understand this:

Because of booze? I'm afraid I'm heading down the same path if things don't start to change. Def losing it.

Unless one of us figures out the cure ourselves, or fx322 works, we are friggen scroooooooooood. At least until the end of the age, and that is rapidly approaching.
