Dude... ENTs only care about drugs/therapies/interventions once they have hit the market. The bench-to-bedside timeline is up to 10 years. So... in that timeframe, your ENT is out of the loop. That's how it works.

Excellent, although far down the pipeline of course, and also not safe for use on live patients at the present.
Current inner ear diagnostics are severely lacking.
