incoming rant

the past several months I've been very lethargic because of friends who abandoned meand obviously in the real world things still suck but I need a job and can't get full disability only partial because I'm self aware my life sucks. thats the least of my concerns i actually kinda want a job.

i stopped caring MPP is a normie cesspool where people post image text memes on their phone at work completely perverted from it's original concept of being supportive of cutting edge biomedical research and autistic fun.


in a nutshell when I am using this forum I am literally putting a cap on my true personality..

the reality is i'm a fucking crazy person with severe mental problems and I love the highs and lows of BPD so much but i dont enjoy the bodily harm like cochlear synaptopathy that came with my self destruvive behavior, but I thrive off being in a state of mania, objectivly.

those who are actually close to me know I'm an extreme edgelord with the darkest sense of humor, yet I have an extremely over senstive personality and can break down crying when things go wrong or people betray me, yet once again i thrive off strong emotions and love toying with them.

hearing damage did nothing but ruin my mentally ill fairytale world, so obviously I'm going to want to correct my hearign damage for my own selfish interest and coicidentially help others. Some people on this forum I really fucking care about because they are brave and brillant and willing to fight the good fight against Jastercuck.

I'm sure reesearchers or anyone sane won't be to happy to know a nut like myself cares so much about curing tinnitus, noise/pain and hearing loss. Obviously people who are more mature and adult like need to play that role (but they're not)

I've obviously done a lot, with donations, MPP, and post about raising awarness for hidden hearing loss and especially exposing scams has objectively helped this community regardless of what a crazy fuckkk I am.


over all I can't keep coming here, for nothing.

You should be kissing the feet of the people who made it possible for you to hope for a cure (and of course that would be the investors, and not the scientists; scientists are a dime a dozen - people willing to pay those scientists to work on research are the ones that are hard to find). Instead, you think that their motives for making it happen are invalid. Apparently, they should not be thinking about themselves and their family, they should be thinking about some stranger. How dare you be so selfish, as to Require and Expect strangers to work for your benefit for free?! What is wrong with you?

I do think they should and will make a huge fortune off of this, especially if they get paid to keep it under wraps.

Penicillin was invented in 1920s. It wasn't until 1940s that they were able to figure out how to produce it cheaply. Invention is nothing. For example, I read a 5 or 10 year old article where they describe that noise cancelling headphones that makes going to the dentist less traumatic has already been invented. The working prototype exists. It has been years, and yet you can't buy this stuff anywhere. What is more important than a working prototype is figuring out an efficient manufacturing process, and all of the logistics.

First of all, if they have a patent, there are exists a unique profit-maximizing price (the one that makes the Marginal Cost equal to the Marginal revenue), which means that there exists a unique quantity for them to produce. If they produce less than this amount (at a price that is higher than the profit-maximizing price), then marginal revenue will be above the marginal cost, which means they can increase their profit by cutting the price and selling more units. No meetings will change the fact above, and no matter what, they would be producing that quantity and selling it at that profit-maximizing price.

If you care only about the short run (i.e., this particular cure), then you wouldn't want them to maximize their profits. If you care about the long run availability of new cures, you would want them to maximize profits with every new product that they introduce.

It is an example they use in business schools to explain what is important and what is not so important (the actual idea for a product, and even its prototype) in determining whether the consumers ever see the new product.
