I am a lay person. I'm nowhere near an expert.

There are two kinds of multiverses. The first is saying different space-times come into existence. The hypothesis states that new universes with big bangs are birthed from black holes. I don't have a problem with this one, as it supports the idea of an organismic Universe. The second (quantum many worlds hypothesis) is saying that every quantum measurement makes a copy paste universe of our current space-time. This hypothesis directly competes with the consciousness model. Instead of consciousness forcing the wave function of the Universe to collapse into a definite state; the Universe just breaks off into infinite copies. We can only measure the copy we are in.

I disagree in that I think the much larger problem is misinformation and social media rabbit holes. Probably the biggest problem we have right now is that when a below average intelligence person (which by the way, absolutely can be a Democrat) goes on the internet, the Dunning-Kruger effect, as you say, can eat them alive.

Both parties are capable of this kind of thinking (though I think the right does it at a more widespread rate).

This happened to people in my family. I can testify to the reality of social media propaganda political pages doing this.

Scammers are going to use websites like thispersondoesnotexist.com/ (sites that use neural networks to generate fake images of people) as a way to create novel, untraceable photos, with their bogus testimonials. I had this concern for over a year. I wonder if an expert can expose the fakes?

How do you obtain disability based on severe tinnitus? Even in Socialist Canada, you get denied. If a psychiatrist, therapist or psychologist can help - how? Btw, waiting lists for psychiatrists can be many months and doctors might even think it's unnecessary.

How do you convince these people that you need financial help because you can't work - that there is no cure or treatment that helps.

In Ontario, Canada, if you have money, you can pay these scammers who are fully supported by the health community for TRT or CBT but there is no government agency that covers it for you. You pay out of pocket so they can profit.

I don't think it's worth the aggravation. I wish I had a suicide method that would be easy.
