Hahaha nope. Its 2018. There is no grass roots anything. It's all pay to play marketing because it's all facebook/google etc. And they watch our online habits like creeps and over half the apps on our phones access our texts and even our microphones and cameras. They control the exchange of information on large scales. Welcome to the 21st century.

That wasn't meant as an insult towards you, and his actions really aren't relevant. If a brutal dictator says the sky is blue, is he automatically wrong simply because he's a bad guy?

The unabombers comments about technology negatively affecting humanity have been gaining a lot of weight in the last 10-20 years thanks to the rise of the internet and tech in general. One only needs to look at the hordes of moronic social media zombies to see how badly it's affected human interactions and behaviour in such a short amount of time.

His proposed solutions were flat out laughable, but his observations and comments have been almost prophetic.

Yeah I get what you're saying now, no offense taken. However this issue is not because of technology, it is a social one that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Think about the Inquisitions.
