MPP needs to be a real team that documents research and our own perspectivies about how we feel tinnitus, otological conditions.

i turn 21 in april and can't wait to not do anything like i originally planned but this time with a twist! The Big T

Same here, 21 in May, 8 years with T in August...

That kelpie status update yesterday gave me a little hope that bi-modal stimulation can really be the first working treatment, and also there is Clare from Neuromod clinical trials. But kelpie excited me more because he had T for 31 years, his entire life and his T even get worse thanks to acoustic trauma in 2018. But it still worked for him (He's probably under NDA so there is no more info, but we know what message he tried to deliver without violating the tems. Thanks a lot kelpie for trying). That means that it doesn't matter how long do you have T (and how much the brain have transformed) and it still works, and if kelpie experience silence now it works AMAZING.

Maybe Minnesota approach is better than Neuromod approach, you know they're all doing bi-modal stimulation (Neuromod, Susan, Minnesota) but every one of them is doing it differently. Different protocol, different nerve stimulation method, different approach. Maybe one have better efficiency than the other one or works for people where another approach isn't. It really have potential to finally give us SOMETHING to fight with T. I'm scared of being too much hyped but man, this is the first time when everything seems to really work as advertised. We have kelpie and Clare, we have 3 different teams that devoted their money and time to bring it to the market, we have a good research that it's based on. Something like this never happened before, NEVER. Everything before just emerged thanks to one little company that promised us this and that, but in the end it was a scam with efficiency on placebo level. This time everything seems to be different, too much people and money involved to be just another money grab.

FX-322 probably will help too, the better the hearing the lower the T is from what we know (and also a strong tool for us when our hearing will get worse in the future). But both of them and one targeted specifically for T? - This is me, hyped like never before for the future.

Next step is to do something to prevent it from worsening (or emerging again if kelpie and Clare are really T free today) from acoustic traumas, because of that we are limited. A LOT limited, we can't do certain jobs, we can't do certain activities, we have to be careful and always think twice. It's really depressing and exhausting.

What words have I used that dont exist?

Let's forget all this now John because it will never end. There have been times where I've seen you use words that were incorrect, but it doesn't really matter. Yesterday was a shit enough day for me as it was.

It's cool. You're obviously a smart guy and none of us are infallible.

Glad you got all that off your chest. Hope you're feeling better.

anyone have any idea why a tinnitus journal has an article about olfactory regeneration?

I find it sorta coincidental that Dr. Minbo Shim offers this olfactory regeneration treatment as well as a hearing regeneration treatment which he says helps with tinnitus and this is in a Tinnitus journal that has the ATA's stamp of approval.

One thing I also find odd is that there are many articles about growth factors in PRP having a positive affect on hearing loss, but there seems to not be a single peer reviewed paper about intratympanic injections of PRP that either confirms of denies it's efficacy. Wouldn't it be a no brainer that it would be worthy to do experiments on this?

Good question. The word tinnitus isn't contained anywhere in this article. How is this tinnitus related, why is it included in a tinnitus journal... and recent 12/2016.

I feel like if I keep digging that I'm going to eventually find where some lab has injected animals or humans with PRP in their ears. That almost seems like a no brainer to try that.

ou'll have to find an ENT to do it.
It's not FDA approved. I'm fully aware that no ENT would do this, at least in the United States. I'm just saying that there are multiple strategies that could help us that don't seem to be going anywhere and seem to be very simple procedures using inexpensive materials.

Google is no exception to this, having their own "gLinux", a modified Linux distro based on Debian,

Google's Chrome OS is a Linux that's heavily modified.

You have to understand what Linux is, it isn't a brand, or an OS, it's literally just a "kernel", something that connects an OS (software) to hardware (physical machine) and because it's open source anyone can make their own Linux or investigate it's source code on how it was built to check for spyware.

(almost) All user friendly Linux Distro's are based on Debian, Debian is the granddaddy of all the other Linux distros for home use and even the vast majority of server use by professionals. This is because Debian is stable meaning it only updates every few years where as other family braches of Linux are more for tech savy nerds that need to test the latest beta software and don't care if they run into lots of bugs and errors.

now to get to my opinion, I don't think it's ever a Good idea to run a Chromebook, it's literally Google's closed source spyware on an semi not compromised open source computer, you are better off just running your own linux distro

Remember someone could modify a safe Linux Kernel put spyware in it and close source it, that's exactly what Google did.

@threefirefour when you started this thread you'd ask people you didn't want here to leave.

either I am going to leave or you need to ask people that are falsely accusing me of a spectrum of wrongdoing with zero evidence to support their accusations to leave.

Sorry I've been off the beat. Who's accusing you of what?

Does anyone want to help me look into this:

https://advancedrejuvenation.us/hearingl-oss-tinnitus-treatment/

It is a Florida based clinic that offers laser therapy for hearing loss and tinnitus.

I just don't see how laser light could reach the haircells in the cochlea.

Have you seen this? I don't know anything about it, I just googled FDA approved laser therapy.

I thought MPP was for memes?

But please @Ed209 don't get on Johnadam's case.

But now you're contradicting yourself. Is it free speech, or is it only speech that you prefer? And where was your declaration when I took a load of shit that was actually personal? Some of it was deleted as it was that bad, but I still took no offence to it and actually defended John.

In my opinion, everything I've said is part of a direct debate; saying what I believe, and nothing has been personally abusive. I have never called him anything derogatory or posted a load of diatribe. I've never wished death upon him, for example - quite the contrary - I've tried to look out for him at various points by giving my opinion on matters where I felt someone should speak up (again, it's fine to disagree with this assessment, but I did it in good faith).

If you think I'm passive-aggressive, that's also your prerogative, but I see it as giving my opinion on matters rather than just agreeing with everything I read, which is surely the whole point to a forum? (and also what free speech is all about?). How dull would it be if everyone just had a love in and never disagreed with any of the issues being discussed?

And finally, I've never wanted to abolish anything, especially MPP (who the hell told you that?). You will never get anyone more pro-free-speech than I am. My ignore list contains no one.

It's all cool. A while back I said I'd stop posting here out of respect, so I'll honour that and leave you all to it.

No MPP is purely free speech. Of course I don't mind people who ferverently disagree with me comment on here. I made this really clear when you and Jazzer decided to raid MPP that one time. What I told John is that I don't want to try to kick you off MPP for disagreeing with him and me. Really even if I did it's not my call to make.

John is definitely upset at the arguing that happened on MPP and I just wanted to ask you to not attack/argue with him as much. You can take it for a grain of salt.

I'm a no-ignore list person too. Glad you support free speech as much as me, and even better that you live in UK which is really struggling there. Idk I'm probably more pro-free speech than you but only because I'm so militant about it ;) Thanks for not being an authoritarian detriment to the world.

Exactly. Nothing is personal; it's just a bunch of words and opinions at the end of the day. Good luck to you all.

Why so serious and easily shaken? Don't take it so personally. Ey please don't play the victim card (to the equivalent of "I'm done with all of you, goodbye, good luck.")
As a permie lurker I enjoy your writings and well constructed arguments. What if @JohnAdams & company ran rampant in all these discussions without you and some other brave men there to challenge them? I wouldn't read those discussions anymore. Fancied posting this to give my opinion. Stay strong my man.

JA has good arguments too. ofc I don't agree with everything he says (same with me I bet) but his arguments about looking for a cure and his personal research are great.
