Microdosing is an interesting concept but far from the holy grail for tinnitus sufferers. Most psychedelics are serotonergic and serotonin provokes my tinnitus. Dopaminergic drugs possibly as well. Which brings me to another gripe about tinnitus: why would the addition of x provoke tinnitus, but the subtraction/blocking of x have no effect on tinnitus? Tinnitus loves to be a paradoxical little bastard.

I mentioned DMT's tendency to take a turn for the clownish to my mom and she was deeply disturbed. Never had much interest in it but that about seals it.

Have you seen any info or anecdotes about microdosing for tinnitus?

Paul Stamets mentioned that microdosing psilocybin for tinnitus is beneficial. Tried to ask him about it but he's probably too busy to get back to me. I'll probably experiment on myself in the future if my tinnitus reaches a relative point of stability.

I have good reason to believe they and contrahealthscam are being DDOS'd by someone.

Hello El Buzz,

We only have 17 completed 12 week surveys to date, which is a pretty small sample and any results would not be very reliable.

However, we do have information on dropout rates, which might be of use at this stage.

We had 24 who signed-up and who should have completed by now. However, only 17 have got to the 12 week stage.

Here is the breakdown:

Ouch! 4 of 21 (who actually tried the treatment) seems to be a very high adverse reaction dropout rate.

I don't know if they are the reason ContrahealthScam is getting DDOS'd but I have very strong suspicions.

@threefirefour I most certainly hope I'm wrong, so glad to hear.
Also - unfortunately there could also be those who experienced adverse reactions, but didn't drop out.
