Oh no, Once! :( How did you break it?
Almost fell down the steps and got it caught on the stair railing. :X3::arghh::arghh::arghh:
Trying not to hurt my elbow again, I broke a finger...ughhh. Only me.

What the heck did you do that for?
:cautious: Not like I did it on purpose. :arghh::arghh::arghh::banghead:
I was doing so well and getting better from my elbow and now this. Shaking my head.

So sorry @OnceUponaTime
- I guess whipping is off the menu once again ??
I'm afraid, Jaz.
Can't crochet, either. What a bummer. :(
Have to let it heal for about 3 to 4 weeks.

Ouch,Ouch, Oucheeeeee. Sorry, you hurt your finger, wish you a speedy recovery.
Thanx, Mary.

Hey @DebInAustralia, great pic. Adorable kitty cat. :)

Stay safe guys, from this corona virus stuff.

Post another silly picture, ok?
Stay away from trouble, you!

Thanx, Michael.

Beautiful. You are more than welcome to post more like this. :)
Looks so relaxing.

Very interesting MOA.
How did you learn - what music did you play etc... what horn did you prefer?
- sorry mate - I'm a trombone freak....x

I started in 4th grade and played through High School, including both concert band and jazz band. My favorite was easily jazz band though. I still remember some of my favorites, "The Tiger of San Pedro", and "In the Mood" were probably my top 2.

Did you hear enough trombone jazz to settle on any favourite jazz soloists by any chance?

unfortunately, no. My young soul was gripped by rock and roll and my passion became guitar and singing. I still enjoy listening to some jazz, in fact I just bought "Some Kind of Blue" by Miles Davis on vinyl the other day. But I mistakenly picked up the Stereo version instead of the mono one that I wanted, grrr.

ah yes, Neil Pert. Sadly he passed away not too long ago.

@Jazzer Can you listen to music these days?
Yes I can listen to recordings but would not go to live performances.
My overriding jazz passion stems from the incredible creativity of Louis Armstrong, who wrote the book on jazz phrasing for all instruments.
I personally don't buy the idea that the Miles Davis / John Coltrane movement superseded the main stem of the true jazz tradition.
If I wanted to point anyone in the direction of the greatest jazz trajectory, I would recommend a study of the absolutely stunning album:
"Louis Armstrong plays W.C. Handy."

I also love much classical music.

Thank you. I feel fortunate to live in San Diego, though I do miss my hometown of NYC.
I lived Uptown Manhattan and in Marine Park, Brooklyn.
Now I live 60 miles north of NYC and don't miss the city at all... hahaha

Hi Once - the greatest contribution that Tinnitus Talk can make, in my opinion of course, is its opportunity for social interaction with other sufferers.
That is why I am here.
To meet, get together, get to know, interact with others with a similar problem to myself.
Obviously not everybody sees things this way.
I can't help being a sociable, people person.
We are all so different of course.

Agreed. Social isolation is, to me, one of the worst things about tinnitus. Sometimes I get so down in a funk and I can't stop thinking "my life is over." But threads like this show that it doesn't necessarily have to be that way.

(Though we are in a rare situation currently where being socially distant is one of the best things anyone can do, ironically. Go figure.)

I agree, as I am a social butterfly myself. I find comfort knowing that I can come here and interact with so many people that actually understand me. That understand when I'm having a tough day or when I am having a good day. (A good day not meaning I am free of tinnitus but that I am coping better that particular day.) That understand the tinnitus language and its ups and downs.

I like to stay informed about new development's in tinnitus research by reading about it not arguing with people about it. I have chosen to remain positive about this whole situation than to be negative and angry at the world. That doesn't mean I don't cry or it doesn't bother me. It simply means I have chosen to live everyday to the best of my ability. To smile as much as I can for my sanity and for my kids. I have felt depressed and anxious and sad about having tinnitus but I have picked myself up and continued doing life. If I have done it for 8 years now, maybe I can do another day and another. But I agree that interacting with others, in a positive way, is healthy and helpful when coping with tinnitus.

So cheers to our Photo Album and let's keep posting on! :woot::woot::D

@fuckyoucovid19 & tinnitus. They closed the gym I go to. Figured I will use the crappy one in my building! Can't do that either! What to do? On a nice spring day go for a ride and took pics of the now defunct OUAT time former set / area.
