That is so not an ugly mug, geez
You're too kind. <3

Actually, I lived my whole life with massive self confidence issues about the way I look. This is the first forum (and I swear I mean this) that I've ever used a profile picture of me.

I don't have Instagram or Facebook, but when I did - I made a point of not showing photos of my face on them - though mainly because I hate the narcissism that comes with the "selfie" culture.

Anyway, I should quit moaning, and actually post me doing some cool things. :)

...I like being high up. Seeing the world from above is exhilarating. It makes me feel so humble.

But she's so sweet. Never even heard her hiss once in 6 years.
Our Maine Coon hardly ever hisses. It was a drop off. I would have never gotten a long hair cat, but now I think a Coon is a great choice, extremely friendly and playful. It's an indoor/outdoor cat, even though it has been declawed in front.

Hi @Steph1710 -- I love the way you look! In fact, your picture has sort of a mystical, Mona Lisa type quality to it. Really! -- BTW, your photo with your outstretched arms has prompted me to do my own "plunge". :) -- Thanks to everybody who's posted their photo(s); I've been enjoying them all!

Great photos, @Steph1710. Were they taken up in Lake District by any chance? The landscape looks somewhat familiar.

Bates Motel was one of the last TV series I watched with sound. Loved it. That Norman and his mother are a twisted pair.
I, ironically, watched it with my mom. We started when it first premiered and followed it until the finale.

I first thought it was related to Psycho 2. I didn't know they had a series. It would be hard to replace Anthony Perkins.

I just checked out the trailer for the series, looks pretty good. Maybe it's on Amazon Prime.

And one more to our album!!! Yei!

Glad you took the plunge, Lane. :)
Good too see you.
The background view is beautiful.

I also enjoy everyone's pictures.
I shall add more soon. ;)

Lane! Amazing photo! This made my day! What a wonderful happy message for me to read :)

Where are you in your photo? It looks fabulously sunny. It's very dreary here in England at the moment - I'm craving some sunshine.

And thank you for the Mona Lisa comparison. I love da Vinci, he is one of my favourite Renaissance artists. His technique of chiaroscuro and safumato - simply amazing!

A picture I took some days ago. Not sure why.

I wish it was night 24/7. Just looks cooler.

'WOW - Lane - so you actually exist !!'
Nice to see you buddy xx

Oh you've got a good eye my friend! Only one of them is taken in the Lake District - can you guess which one? ;)

Are you from the UK too?
If I had to hazard a guess, I think any of the last three photos could've been taken in the Lake District.

And yes I am, also not far from London :)
