She is indeed a quiet and smart kid.

She understands my condition and she's trying to help me as much as she can.

Yes, I enjoy parenthood.

I was lucky enough to be tinnitus free in the first years, when she was crying and making a lot of noise.

Now she is almost 7 and she's very supportive.

Now she is almost 7 and she's very supportive.

I don't see much beauty left in the world, but something I do find beautiful is mature children.

My 3-year-old nephew came into my home and completely accommodated my disability, no complaints. Keep in mind that I live in basically a sound proof bubble. He was so sweet about it too and even held in a sneeze at dinner, looking at me like he wanted to protect me.

As he and my brother (obviously, huge credit to him for why his son was so kind) were leaving, he heard some birds and said something like "I bet those would hurt Uncle (my name)."

Such beauty. I'm so glad your daughter has that too.

Surround yourself with good company at all times!

Even if that company is your all time, all life, besties soaked in booze.

Kids inherit a lot from their parents' behaviour, so well done!

My 4-year-old likes to yell near my ear quite a bit. I tell him to stop, you're killing your daddy lol.

Sounds rough on the ears. I hope he grows out of that phase soon.

Probably the album Ive listened to the most, closely followed by Angel Dust and Mr Bungle's Disco Volante.

Ah! I love Mr Bungle! Managed to play some in the art gallery I'm currently doing an install in. To my surprise, a young lad who was helping us told me he loves Mr Bungle. It was nice for someone else to appreciate it with me, rather than say - "what the hell is this you're playing!?"

How cool to find people who don't look at you like if you were a weirdo because of listening to Mr Bungle, isn't it? Doesn't happen very often.

LOL! It took me some hardcore years to adapt and be able to enjoy that kind of activities again. My tinnitus is severe. I can hear it everywhere over every sound. Nasty high pitched dental drill loud noise. Now the spans of time ignoring it are longer but sometimes, today for example, I'm knees deep in sh*t again. This is some unpredictable beast when it comes to spikes.
