After getting tinnitus and hyperacusis - can't be bothered to shave and gained a few kgs (it was still a good dinner with my gf).
Kinda. I work at a movie theatre. I clean the auditoriums, hallways, bathrooms, etc. I always carry foam ear plugs with me, and due to the nature of my work I'm rarely exposed to the large crowds, at least for any extended period of time.Hiya buddy,
Looking good, and thanks for joining in.
I'm guessing you work in the hospitality business going by your face page comment.
The conversation levels in restaurants these days tends to be so loud that I often make a dive for my ear plugs.
I guess that's not so easy for you.
Best wishes,

After I had to wind up my business and before my pretty meagre pension clocked in I did some domestic cleaning for a couple of years.Kinda. I work at a movie theatre. I clean the auditoriums, hallways, bathrooms, etc. I always carry foam ear plugs with me, and due to the nature of my work I'm rarely exposed to the large crowds, at least for any extended period of time.
I always wait for the movies to be completely over before cleaning as well.
I'm looking for a new, more quiet job though. I appreciate your concern.
By the way - the volume level in movie theatres these days is way into the danger territory, as I'm sure you would agree?
Hi, Rish!

Not me!Most of us have put on quite a few kilos.
Last time I got into a theatre was to watch "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood". I spent the whole film looking for my tinnitus as I was completely unable to hear it there even during the silent moments of the picture. It was reaaally weird as I am used to hear mine over every film I watch on my TV.Depends on the movie to be honest with you. I've been given complaints several times of movies being too quiet.
And I suppose it depends on the film. Something like The Fast and The Furious or John Wick is probably much louder than something like Little Women or Downton Abbey.
But I make sure to be careful regardless of the film. I doubt I'll be seeing a movie in a theatre anytime soon, atleast not without earplugs.
I was in a movie???Last time I got into a theatre was to watch "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood"
I'm a primary school teacher from the U.K. Here is me dressed up for World Book Day last year!

Wow primary school teacher. How do you deal with all the kids, bells and assemblies? Does your tinnitus react to noise?View attachment 36287

And all along, I thought your username was a tinnitus reference, not a hair one...Beautiful Saturday here, tinnitus screaming at me... Being bald as I am I go for @Jazzer Transcranial Estimulation Method ® quite often. Sunglasses on and a wine outdoors will ice the cake. View attachment 36308
Can't go butch cut, crew cut, flat top or ivy league as there's nothing on the top, so stick to the tinnitus reference for now. I'll consider a visit to Istanbul after making numbers for FX-322.And all along, I thought your username was a tinnitus reference, not a hair one...
Hi Rajin,
This was in Ohrid North Macadonia. Very beautiful mountain. I just want to not stop my life, but with tinnitus do more than I used to do. We can't stop living because of tinnitus. I got a lot help here from many people. Thank you.Hi Rajin,
Beautiful background on that picture.
Glad to have you on our photo album.
Hopefully, others will join us too.

Awesome job. This inspires me to get out my labcoat and stethoscope and cosplay as your ENT.Alright, mask off, full-on nerd mode: engaged. This was my cosplay of my avatar, Hisoka from the (best ever) anime Hunter x Hunter. I highly encourage the watch; its writing, animation and themes are absolutely top-notch. I cut out and hand stitched almost every part of the costume, which probably took about 50 hours but it was super fun and time well-spent.
