Found this absolute beauty of a church the other day when I was taking myself for a drive through the countryside.

Just look at those views - and please ignore my clapped out banger of a car haha.

The church is originally Norman, so about 800/900 years old, but it has had (like most of our churches) 19th century renovations.

Just months before my recent spike that has led me back to browsing this website obsessively... Lifting has been the one thing that has helped me the most and now it's hard to even do that since I can't block out the noise anymore. Oh the things I would do to be able to travel back in time to prevent this from happening. Don't know how you guys do it...

AnonymousWasp never skips leg day. Confirmed.

Holy moly.

Appreciate it lol. Gotta try to focus on something else when we're fighting demons everyday.
Hi AnonymousWasp!

I know the struggle inside out. I don't know if you are distressed by some degree of hyperacusis but trust me, stick to the initial plan. Keep training. Go do what used to make you feel great. Don't derail from your main script. This stuff is going to keep sounding whether you are lifting or in bed, so squeeze the time life has given to you. You'll celebrate having done so when brighter days come.

Hug!

And some pictures to justify the posting:

I do have a little sound sensitivity but I can go on life as normal with it. My ears are sensitive to really only to sounds such as dishes slamming on the counter, pots on the stove slamming, etc. Even then, it only causes a little discomfort but no pain (I explain it as my ear jumping/flinching). I can go out to loud bars and handle a lot of other loud noises just fine. I appreciate the positivity but it gets so hard after a long day when you just want to wind down and relax... I used to be able to mask it easily by just driving and playing music or simply being outside.
