Another sign that Minbo Shim is a scam artist... not accepting card payments. What doctor in 2019 doesn't accept card payments? You got it right, scam artists, because you can't challenge a direct bank payment. Card payment you can if you feel you've been scammed. He gave me his bank info and I paid him at my bank by transferring money directly. Not via Western Union.
John went there himself. He had 80 shots into the ear. He was once extremely skeptical until he did research. Since he got back, he has been reporting pretty good news on here... Are you calling him a liar?Another sign that Minbo Shim is a scam artist... not accepting card payments. What doctor in 2019 doesn't accept card payments? I'm not sure about that, but your post is very colorful. Just waiting for @JohnAdams final testimony (which could take several months) before judging would be best though. Medical procedures can be very costly to perform whether they work or not.Minbo Shim is a scam artist
Let's all calm down please, Agatha, some logic please.Another sign that Minbo Shim is a scam artist... not accepting card payments. What doctor in 2019 doesn't accept card payments? When my hearing improved my tinnitus lowered significantly, and my damage barely showed up on tonal audiograms to begin with.I never had what would be considered hearing loss. My lowest dips were at 25 dB which is a borderline mild loss, but those frequencies are now back to 0 dB. I can only go by the dates on the audiograms which show an 8-month interval, but this doesn't really give a clue as to how long it took for my hearing to get to that stage or how reliable the audiograms are with an accuracy of +- 10 dB. My latest audiograms - I've had two since - were both better than the audiogram I posted dated March 2016. My hearing on my latest tests was perfect (from memory all frequencies were on or nearly at 0 dB and some were above 0 meaning super acute hearing), however, with that said, my tinnitus is exactly the same and still fluctuates.
I have no explanation for any of this, at all. It does seem that my hearing recovered somewhat, though, because my improvements generally go beyond the margin of error of +- 10 dB.
And how did you improve your hearing? When my hearing improved my tinnitus lowered significantly, and my damage barely showed up on tonal audiograms to begin with.
Just by resting and not exposing myself to loud noise. And how did you improve your hearing?
Well I had a yearly hearing test before tinnitus and now since tinnitus my hearing test is better than all the years before, i wonder why that is.Just by resting and not exposing myself to loud noise.
I also took magnesium, b-12, and melatonin.
I wish there was more science to explain how nerves in the ear heal.
Yeah I've been looking too and can't find a whole lot.I wish there was more science to explain how nerves in the ear heal.
I hope researchers are trying to figure out the positive aspect to these things.Well I had a yearly hearing test before tinnitus and now since tinnitus my hearing test is better than all the years before, i wonder why that is.
Didn't you say R. David Case's sound file helped you?Well I had a yearly hearing test before tinnitus and now since tinnitus my hearing test is better than all the years before, i wonder why that is.
When I look in my own environment most people with tinnitus get better, I'm not one of them so far.I hope researchers are trying to figure out the positive aspect to these things.
The thing is some people get better, and others get worse. That's whats scary.
@Manny @Artazanasss @PetitGarsTimide @Tempest
are four users other then myself who suffer from muffled hearing, broken hearing, hearing loss in background noise after continued loud noise exposure but very little damage shows up on the audiogram. Three of them I know have it really bad and don't seem to be making natural recoveries.
Yes but I went back to baseline after two weeks.Didn't you say R. David Case's sound file helped you?
Has your mild visual snow resolved? When it's quiet and I lay my head on a pillow I can hear it. Sometimes my right ear is silent, sometimes not. Left ear is still making a noise, but it's different from before my treatment. It's a little quieter and the tone doesn't sound as full. I sleep very well over all.
I am so happy for you @JohnAdams!When it's quiet and I lay my head on a pillow I can hear it. Sometimes my right ear is silent, sometimes not. I'm about to plan a trip to Korea, might as well try all my options before thinking about death lol.
I've reached out to Shim and I've been researching the PRP treatment and it seems promising, based on Johns progress so far I'm willing to take the chance especially since I'm very young and my acoustic trauma is fairly recent at 4 months.
If anyone wants me to I can help verify that they are in fact in contact with the right person. At the very least, make sure you're in touch with the correct person and such, okay?
