Do you know if DMSO has any ototoxic side effects?
In case you haven't seen this (from 1975):Glad to have discovered this. Just make sure to dilute to 0.25%!

So then you're farting a rotten egg smell all day when drinking the solution? I would take that trade off for quiet in my head. This is the stuff tht gives sulfur hot springs a rotten egg smell.
I will be taking u up on that... so please don't forget... at the end of the kids' school year...If anyone wants me to I can help verify that they are in fact in contact with the right person.

Dimethyl sulfoxide therapy in subjective tinnitus of unknown origin.
Abstract
In fifteen patients affected by essential nonvibratory tinnitus, local applications in the external auditive canal of 2 ml medicated DMSO spray were made. The spray solution contained DMSO integrated with anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory substances. This application was repeated every four days for a month. At the same time each patient was administered a daily intramuscular injection of a preparation that contained DMSO and a vasodilatory component. The therapeutic effect was evaluated through the subjective modification of the symptom and functional tests of the auditory system.
Of the fifteen patients treated, the tinnitus symptom completely disappeared in nine, and did not return during a one-year observation period. The patient's symptoms diminished in two cases, and in four cases the permanent tinnitus became occasional, triggered principally by environmental cold. It is important to note that among the concomitant signs, the five patients with vertigo noted improvement. Hypacusis diminished in three of the six patients affected. Insomnia disappeared in eight and diminished in seven cases. The rise in the average tympanic membrane temperature from 36.8 degrees C before to 37.9 degrees C after treatment was noteworthy. This could indicate an improvement of the blood flow in the inner ear.
@Bndsmheowqhe -- That's what I'd like to know! They sure weren't generous with their specifics were they? Here's some of my thoughts however. There's a number of supplements that are often suggested as possibly being able to improve tinnitus, generally because of their ability to improve circulation (blood flow). Below is some information on three of these supplements. -- In the category of anti-inflammatory, the main suggestion is usually curcumin, but there are others as well. What can I purchase that would contain this?
Is it good for hearing restoration?/tinnitus I'm thinking of taking that and magnesium..CVS sells the extract.
Amazon. It's very common. As common as ginger.
I've taken a massive amount of it and it has helped with spike and brought down my tinnitus levels while on it but nothing permanent. I am almost 100% sure it doesn't cure chronic hearing loss by itself. It is very otoprotective and could be helpful as an early intervention or as a preventative measure. Is it good for hearing restoration?/tinnitus I'm thinking of taking that and magnesium..
It's great for inflammation. If your tinnitus is related to inflammatory markers (which is the whole basis for the fasting regimen) it may help.I've taken a massive amount of it and it has helped with spike and brought down my tinnitus levels while on it but nothing permanent. My hearing is clearer and my tinnitus is calming down even more.
Your right ear is T free now ? And how's the HMy hearing is clearer and my tinnitus is calming down even more, even the HF sounds.
If I go into a silent room and plug my right ear I can just barely hear it. No hyperacusis, for now. I still am getting fleeting tinnitus but it sounds totally different than it used to.Your right ear is T free now ? And how's the H
John - I have to say, I have read quite a few accounts of healing, via other methods, on this forum, and have been entirely skeptical/disbelieving.I've had another noticeable improvement over the last week.
I'm now 100% putting my recommendation in Dr. Shim's method, and not just his method, but him as well. I think he is a brilliant genius.
Going to his clinic is one of the best decisions I have ever made next to finding faith in God and marrying my wife.
I do not believe that my improvements are a coincidence.
I just want to say that every single one of you that have gone beyond healthy skepticism and insinuated that he is somehow guilty of impropriety need to be completely ashamed of yourselves especially those of you that have posted outright lies about him ripping you off.
Yes he did it, from my iliac crest. 6 times. Ouch!@JohnAdams
Thanks for sharing your experience, very glad your results are so good.
One fairly minor question, but I just wondered, did Dr. Shim as an ENT perform your bone marrow stem cell extraction from the iliac crest or did he have another physician do that for you?
The reason I ask is because curious in general, but also because over a year ago I discussed a similar procedure with an ENT who was willing to perform it on me if I would arrange for another physician to handle the stem cell extraction and then bring it along for intratympanic injection. I did go ahead with the iliac crest stem cell extraction and had it injected back into the bloodstream by IV, not into the middle ear by intratympanic injection, because it all seemed too daunting. But you have now blazed a trail.
Thanks man. I appreciate your words. I think you are a very honest person as well.John - I have to say, I have read quite a few accounts of healing, via other methods, on this forum, and have been entirely skeptical/disbelieving.
I am very suspicious of bogus claims.
There is usually a commercial element to them.
I do not believe in the miraculous.
However, having read many of your posts over quite a long time, I believe in your integrity, and know how you have suffered.
You showed amazing courage.
I believe you, and I am delighted for you.
Well done buddy.
@Deathtotinni was doing that but I havent heard from him lately. I wonder how he is doing.I'm eager for the dmso to arrive
