How many injections did you endure? Thanks. Home now after a long, long flight and 2 weeks in Seoul.
My tinnitus is different for sure but I'm jetlagged and very tired.
I assumed that... can you elaborate... has he added something to the mix...?He told me.
Look at this bird.I assumed that... can you elaborate... has he added something to the mix...?
Is this top secret? And I am left in the cryptic abyss...
Rephrase... could you please expand on what would be permissible to expand on...
Could you ask the good Dr. for his blessings to do so, if you haven't already?
If his methods have improved, then surely it would be advantageous and beneficial for him to have good publicity.
Throw me a bone dog...
I think it was around 40 injections in total. Alternating between each ear day after day.How many injections did you endure?
Do you have to take special supplements?
It's amazing that you can notice changes so quickly, I recall JohnAdams having a similar experience.
You are brave, hope you are well... keep us posted.
This is exactly what I experienced initially afterward. I had major noise sensitivity for a few weeks after the procedures. Don't expect anything any time soon.I think it was around 40 injections in total. Alternating between each ear day after day.
I'd like to say my tinnitus is a bit better but it's not at the moment. If anything it seems worse at this stage. It's like an 18 month long and worsening spike!
What I've got now is very different to what I started with.
I have tried my best to avoid all loud noise though and protect my hearing. It can be overwhelming and has made me a very different person. I can't socialise in the same way for example.
The most useful thing I've learnt is breathing deeply from the diaphragm to help relax the body. Especially useful when waking up in the small hours to an ungodly racket.
I'd been holding tension in my neck and shoulders for years and years due to unresolved trigger points but that's another story.

Thanks John.
Hang in there, The first month might be rough judging from what John Adams has mentioned.I think it was around 40 injections in total. Alternating between each ear day after day.

How many months did it take after the PRP injections to experience your first period of silence? This is exactly what I experienced initially afterward. I had major noise sensitivity for a few weeks after the procedures. Don't expect anything any time soon.
I never went back to complete silence, I could pretty much always hear it if I plugged my ears. It took about 3 months for everything to settle. How many months did it take after the PRP injections to experience your first period of silence?
Great story and you went through a lot. But in the end... you say you aren't sure if it was the supplements or the surgery, correct?I never went back to complete silence, I could pretty much always hear it if I plugged my ears. It took about 3 months for everything to settle.
Not at all. Even without supplements I am still much better off, some tones are totally gone. The thing I'm not sure about is if it was just time and natural healing, which it very well may have been. It seems more likely to me that the procedure is responsible for the bulk of my recovery. But in the end... you say you aren't sure if it was the supplements or the surgery, correct?
That's not what I've said at all.Hi JohnAdams,
For clarification @Tinnitard and you seem to say you haven't seen any real improvement yet?
Thanks.
Not trying to argue, I'm just a little dense... you said you aren't sure if it was "time and natural healing" versus the procedure... in which you invested a lot of personal time and investment... so I appreciate that. Not at all. @JohnAdams did you have periods of relative quiet / silence prior to the PRP procedure, as well as with all the supplements? Or did you not really have any breakthrough silence until you really started working a strong recovery program? That's not what I've said at all.
I had a few, then I had another acoustic trauma, actually 2 back to back that wiped out any silence.@JohnAdams did you have periods of relative quiet / silence prior to the PRP procedure, as well as with all the supplements? Delta A350s and a KAL 747.Not trying to argue, I'm just a little dense... you said you aren't sure if it was "time and natural healing" versus the procedure... in which you invested a lot of personal time and investment... so I appreciate that.
I'm in Incheon all the time, and it looks like you took Delta, probably on an A350 or 777.
Anyway... just grasping at any hope... so that's why I am trying to pin you down. Please take no offense.
Nope, no improvement yet sadly. My tinnitus seems to get worse by the day. I'm hopeful the nerves are just taking their time in coming back and regenerating. I was told it'll take time, at least a few weeks before I notice anything.Hi JohnAdams,
For clarification @Tinnitard and you seem to say you haven't seen any real improvement yet?

Yes, keep in mind that I'm the only one that has reported good results. @GlennAz got nothing and @Tinnitard is still in recovery so don't be hasty in you decision. Now I feel like my future has been ruined, so I'm willing to go into debt for a chance at getting back the bright future I had once envisioned.
Don't forget, @GlennAz wasn't exactly the best candidate since he has had hearing loss and tinnitus for multiple decades.Well... so far the sample size is 1 of 3 success! Which is better than anything else I've seen (a touch of sarcasm).
Thanks again to everyone for their time, pain, and investment.
Also, I have very low hearing loss and was less than a year in.Don't forget, @GlennAz wasn't exactly the best candidate since he has had hearing loss and tinnitus for multiple decades.
