Hello !

I'm delighted to hear about this positive development! My ear definitely feels better
Where was the ear infection (outer, middle or inner)?Hello @Christophe_85
Well, it went surprisingly okay! I opted for the manual extraction which was fairly quick! As it turns out, I also have an ear infection which I'm surprised wasn't picked up by the Audiologist! My ear definitely feels better now it's clear though! Thank you for asking!

Also, you know you said microsuction made your tinnitus worse, what happened? Did it make a loud noticeable noise when it sucked the wax out at a specific point? I had mine done and don't remember it being noisy, just uncomfortable.
@Vicki14 I am glad it went well. For what it's worth, I get microsuction every 3-4 months and it has no effect on my tinnitus. If anything it lowers it because there's less wax.

Yeah like 90% of natural cures, it's fake.fyi ear candles are bogus
Thank you! I'm guessing it was the wax build up!!!Hello Vicki !
Very good !
Ok this is very good news for you if you can feel better !
Do you know what caused your ear infection ?
As soon as the microsuction was done I felt immediate hearing loss in both ears. I had two audiograms done after that and both showed 50-60% hearing loss in
Hi frequencies. Elevated tinnitus developed along with severe sound sensitivity.
DON'T EVER GET THE MICROSUCTION PROCEDURE. You are better off sticking a spoon in your ear to clean out the wax..... not
Thank you! I'm guessing it was the wax build up!!!
Did you have to take antibiotics ?
Long time lurker, first time poster.
@Vicki14, was the Audiologist at the Hear Clinic the one who did the manual removal or the one who did the microsuction and made everything worse? I have an appointment on Friday at the same clinic and have specifically asked for a manual removal as I have both tinnitus and hyperacusis. Thank you in advance!
Microsuction is dangerous, especially in careless hands (i.e. most ENTs):
