War in Ukraine — Megathread

The worst part is that @AnthonyMcDonald was invited to a 4-hour-long Tinnitus Quest interview with members of the Executive Board. If I was Ukrainian and I donated to Tinnitus Quest, I would be absolutely livid if I found out.

Besides that, this guy claims to be the representative of the tinnitus and hyperacusis community, hahaha. Can you imagine that? Claiming to fight against tinnitus yet supporting the guy that causes it among so many people?

It is questionable. This is someone who wants us to believe that Putin and the Russian population are the real victims while the Ukrainians are the actual aggressors in this war. A country in alignment with North Korea and that now has North Korean soldiers fighting alongside the Russians against Ukrainians.

This is someone who promotes Russian propaganda and troll farm narratives, literally regurgitating their talking points word-for-word and using the same social media discourse tactics.

Honestly, anything he says has to be taken with a grain of salt. He probably has some hidden motive behind it all (personal gain, probably).

Oh yeah, I definitely discuss politics on my scientific channel (not).

@StoneInFocus has some weird stalker-like obsessive behavior about me. I honestly think he needs psychological help.

I haven't seen either of you organize a comprehensive questions list for Dr. De Ridder to answer and participate in a 4-hour scientific Q&A session. Why not offer to do it yourselves if you have such major issues with me?

I realize now that saying take what you say with a grain of salt was unnecessary. I shouldn't have said that and take that back. I mentioned earlier in this thread (look at the post I replied to) that you do come across as knowledgeable in tinnitus-related topics. But you need to be careful with how you present yourself outside of that. That's all I'll say.
