What Is Your Favorite Hobby?

You're life seems very well rounded. I'm kinda jelly :p. I think reading is a perfect think for you right now. Let's the mind come at easy and bring imagination. Imagination of what life was like from the Mongols to a dancing banana:rockingbanana:.

Taylor, I had a perfect live before Tinnitus . There was so many other things I wanted to do. I began learning German and Czech language. I stopped all of it...because what is the point lol

The point?! Then we find a new hobby!!! Like I said, books books books. Art sounds awesome. Writing. Knitting. Carving wood. Hiking. There's a world of opportunities.

I became more spiritual because of T. I have also learned to value life deeply now.
I just wish I was able to learn a few more languages and get a job of my dreams where i travel the world doing business.

Ironically Me and (I believe) most others became more nihilistic because of tinnitus. I want to travel too but I want to learn Portuguese, Hindi, and French first.

I love Portuguese. I started to learn French over the summer because i would love to live in Montreal or Quebec City lol
+ The language is so beautiful :)

I believe one day you will be able to. In time. Sometimes things don't always work out right away. I understand the frustration. As I told you a few weeks ago I had to drop out of my highschool into homeschooling. I was top of my class and could have been in the competition for valedictorian. I put so much work and effort into my studies for nearly 4 years to have H snatch it all away from me because school was too loud and painful. 4 years because I was on a bad route. I grew up in a very abusive household and was bullied in school. Always was on the verge of homeless for many years with my family. I kept being told "There's a way out. And it's through education.". You could say I was like one of those inspirational success stories.

But alas H and T has helped me quite a bit ironically. It's torn me down but it's also helping me build myself back up. Which indeed I'm greatful for. I feel for the people who suffer from severe T and H. I had a brief taste of that of H for a few weeks. It was truly dreadful. I pray for all the sufferers. Many people are drained and tired. But I do believe there is hope. Hope in race to help find treatment for these destructive symptoms. I believe we are not far off from treatment. In time though. I hope and pray that we all one day can wake up and hear silence, listen and enjoy the richest of sound again.

I believe in the future. I have hope that we all find solidarity. And even if in the end we have no treatment. No way to ever completely heal. I hope that we all come to peace with these monsters in our head and in our ears.

I know everyone is capable of living life. It is different for everyone and I can only pray everyone finds that niche. To give their life meaning.

Hindi o.o that's exotic. That's gonna be tough but I think you are up for the challenge!

Perhaps you become an ENT, Audiologist, or find a cure to T. T and H need more public attention, this is something serious. I wish more young people knew how easy it is to damage your ears due to loud noise exposure.
I think Earbuds need to be banned!!

I would also love to live in Austria, Germany, or the Czech Republic :) :) :)

Weird thing is it has a lot of words in common with spanish (which I already speak), that mean something else in Portuguese. It's weird to reassociate those words with something else.

It's surprisingly not actually. It's part of the indo-aryan family so it's actually pretty easy to learn (compared to other Asian languages).

Agreed.

I'm 17. It would be a shame if I gave up on my life so early because of T or H.

Earlier I was talking to Michael Leigh about my H spike from my music. I listen to music that has high amounts of base like Trap, Dubstep and House. He recommended to listen to classical music. Something soothing to my ears.

I think someone may look at that and think. " :( So I have to give up my music too?". No. I see it as change. Nothing even near remotely bad. I find if actually quite good. I love violin, piano, classical guitar etc. It would be truly brilliant if I branched out and listened more into these genres of music. Liberating possibly.

Most of those are very difficult to learn. I always focus on keeping a nice palate of useful languages.

Ahh poo... as an American where everyone here mostly speaks English I can't comprehend the togetherness of all the cultures and languages in Europe. Must be fascinating!

Must be very difficult. If only there were a solution to the madness.

It's definitely one of my favorite continents. Everything about european culture is so cool.

I was there in the summer and fell in love with it. My plan was to learn German and Czech and move overthere to look for a job (thank you T :) ). I love history and culture, i thrive off foreign lanugages and cultures. I like ALL CULTURES, but Europe is in my heart.

Most cultures are pretty cool. Even though not every culture is equal, they all have some value.
