I think you will be fine. I did some dumb things last new year and I only got a temporary spike.

Using earplugs all the time makes you just notice your tinnitus more.

I go to school. The cafeteria is sometimes loud, but I can cope with it. Classes are not that loud unless we watch videos and I will plug my ears if I think it is necessary. So no I don't use earplugs at school.

I flew with the pretty new Airbus A330-300. When I used earplugs and earmuffs I could not hear the plane's noises, it was so relaxing. :)

From my experience I would recommend using earmuffs. I have noise cancelling headphones but they did not give as good protection as the earmuffs.

That is not loud. For example doctors visit the morgue and cut the bodies using all kind of equipment's.

I want to be a doctor. (I got my tinnitus 2 years ago and life is pretty good now. I don't wear earplugs on the bus, I go to eat in school and in the canteen it is maybe (85 dB) and it has no effect on my tinnitus.) So it looks like my ears are starting to get used to louder sounds every year...

Fuck I wish I could go to bars/night clubs.
