Anyone ever do notch therapy for tinnitus? What I am understanding in that you listen to music or white noise that is missing the Hz you are hearing in the tinnitus... For example, mine is at 14000 Hz so they take out the 14000 Hz from the sound I listen to... is that what it is? The other...

The ear tone of about 11000 Hz is bad enough but when feeling inside head, wooooo!....

Took low dose of Magnesium Taurate (taurine) 2 days ago, and my ear fullness and tinnitus spiked! Not good... so will not take this again.

My tinnitus of 3 months is still the same with a high 12,000 Hz ish sound, but now I got increased muffling... anyone have the same general onset of this? :(

Eric... not a good week for me, 4 months of tinnitus, this week my tinnitus spiked!... Anyway, I aggravated or created tinnitus by using Methylsalicylate rub on my neck and behind my ears around the time the spike started... many people don't know that it is ototoxic.

I think my tinnitus is aggravated or even caused by Salicylates... will try to eliminate it from diet.

Agree with Kelvin... Blood pressure changes (4 different meds in 4 months until found the one that did cause side affects and the anxiety of high and low blood pressure helped trigger my tinnitus...) MCT/coconut oil can cause increased anxiety and make tinnitus worse in most people! And any...

To all the taurine posts here... ...2 months ago when I got tinnitus, I also started on high dose Magnesium Taurate (taurine), maybe a coincidence, maybe not. Taurine can act as a stimulant or inhibitor to some neuro chemicals in the brain. If there is too much of this sulfur chemical/amino...

Hi Contrast: 1. Yes hx of being in band when younger, drummer. 2. no hx of ortho 3. tried 4 different BP pills over a 3 month period, changed due to spikes in BP, and due to the stress of the med changes and spikes, some family stress, got super anxious from this, which I think triggered this...
